An undeniable '90s gem!
I remember I used to believe that would have a TV series after the movie, but unfortunately nothing like this happened. As a young adult I was when this movie was released, I created a strong conection with its context. I used to watch it over and over with some friends I had that time. The characters (practically all of them) were so down on Earth, so relatable. Till today, I can't say who among them is my favorite. All I know is that I like them all, with no exception. Even the irritating Warren.
A very simple movie that makes much sense to me, particularly. Not among my favorites though, but certainly a very special one.

Coyote Shivers wasn't Liv Tyler's 24 year old step dad at the time, he was in his late 20s (29 ish) when filming began. He was 27 when he married her mom in 1992. This movie came out in 1995 so he was about 30. Liv and Coyote have a 12 age difference.
Not sure how he fooled the studio that he was in his teens.

Ethan Embry best known for Vegas Vacation? Am I living in some crazy alternate universe here? Every one of my friends would mention That Thing You Do and Can't Hardly Wait (ESPECIALLY Can't Hardly Wait) as the other movies we know him from before even thinking of the lesser Griswold movie.

Why Imdb says that Tobey Maguire was in Empire Records, as Andre! Who the f was Andre. I watch the movie again and can remember any Andre or seen Tobey Maguire in the movie.

This was filmed in my hometown! We had an Empire Records type record store. It was called CD Alley and I never felt cool enough when I went in there.
