Movies So Boring We Can't Watch Them Radical: You missed out Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers. I know the middle movie of a trilogy is difficult but New Line should have listened to Peter Jackson who wanted to incorporate it into The Fellowship and Return Of The King. Tolkien never wanted the middle book, he wanted only the fellowship and the return of the king. He too wanted to incorporate The Two Towers into the first and last books but just like New Line the publishers wanted a money grab. The middle of a story is notoriously difficult. I realize that but The Two Towers padded out main plot points which could have easily been incorporated into the other two, instead of making it a nearly 4 hour drag ( extended cut) of Frodo, Sam and Gollum wandering around doing very little.
I now skip it and only watch the Fellowship and Return Of The King. The Two Towers book is just as turgid!
Dont even get me started on The Hobbit, a childrens book no longer than 300 pages long( probably less) being made into 3 four hour long (extended cut) movies incorporating parts of The Silmarillion ( incomprehensible trash ) trying to justify there was a trilogy worth telling!

in all honesty. i think this ridiculous excuse for a video should be dropped from Looper list. its obviously a bash up. all but one is a documentary/Arty sort of movie. and to put Meet Joe Black in this list is obviously an ill attempt to hook us in. even the screenshot of the title had a a picture of it to real us in. but even in cinematography stand points. all others are self indulgent home videos of a self gratifying twats. obviously Meet Joe Black isn't everyone's cup of tea. but personally i give it 100/100, because even as a modern man. it still makes me connect with emotions. when Joe returns over the hill. she knows. that her father and death have gone. but here is a man, that maybe the man she could find happiness with. yes it is an arty sort of romance film. but beautiful in its application. the scene in the hospital. with Haitian woman. simply reflective of life and our inherent end. and how it will come.
again i say. Looper please remove this video list. as it doesn't conform with the title. i do like your videos, normally. but this one is off track.

How on Dog's wide and verdant creation is Lost In Translation not on this list! I like Bill Murray. I like Scarlett Johansson. I desperately wanted to see what got this movie it's critical acclaim. But ALAS! I could never last 15 minutes before drifting off into blissful sleep. It took a six pack of Jolt Cola for me to finally make it to the end of this movie. And even with my heart racing and my body shivering from the mega dose of caff coursing through my veins the best reaction that I could muster up? . A low, spiteful, and contemptible meh.

I liked Last Days, Meet Joe Black wasn't bad, either. You want boring: Try the George Clooney remake of Solaris, The Turin Horse (where two people eat boiled potatoes for a long time in one shot, Stalker (A Soviet era movie which is painfully slow. I watched it stoned and still had trouble paying attention. As far as documentaries go I thought Tarnation was horrible, self-indulgent, vomit-inducing crap.

The only thing I have to say is how is Vanilla Sky not on this list? That movie has the honor of being the only movie that made me fall asleep in the theater out of boredom. less than 15 minutes into the movie. and I was on a date. I can honestly say that it I the most boring movie I have ever had the displeasure of trying to watch.

I disagree with Meet Joe Black, but only due to some audience participation. There's a scene in which a female actress is kneeling in front of Brad Pitt standing in a nice pair of charcoal gray slacks. At that point, an African American woman in the rear of the auditorium yells, Go for it, girl. It made the whole movie worthwhile.

Say YOU thought the movie was boring. I loved it: the dialog, the family get togethers, and everything else. I bought the movie so I could watch it any time I want. So sorry you missed the entire meaning. For you there should be wall-to-wall car chases, fights, etc. THOSE are the movies I find boring. along with your review.

It's hardly necessary to pick on documentaries no-one has heard of, in order to make a most boring movies list. How about you just start with Michael Bay or Zack Snyder's IMDB-pages. Or the new Star Wars films. I couldn't finish Rogue One, even with the RedLetterMedia commentary track on top of it.

Legend (1985) put me to sleep. In the theater. I did wake up in time for the ending though.
A couple of other notable ones: American Gangster. I really like Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe, but this movie was boring. No way it needed to be three hours long.
Lincoln. It was very dull.

i have another one. Man of steel 2013, after 40mins with confusing flashbacks i turned it off or i would have fallen in sleep, couldent find head or tail, a shame really, it has potential to be a good movie, you may not agree with me, but this is just my personal opinion. have a nice day everyone: )
