In Resident Evil The Final Chapter, after the stuntwoman Olivia had her accident (which she was NOT properly compensated for by the way) and was obviously removed from the production. Another stuntman later into the shooting of the movie was killed by another crew member driving a hummer in one of the scenes by smashing him into a wall. Clearly it shows that not every professional thinks things through (the driver I mean)

Really a hats off to the stunt team guys. The unsung forgotten heroes from back unit. They risk their life to give a perfect stunt for the success of a action movie and in return they r not much appreciated for their work. I really feel bad for those guys who lose their life during performing those dangerous stunts during movies shoots. May their soul R. I. P whom have lost their life during their job.

Do NOT forget the horrible accident filming The Twilight Zone. the directors want more, bigger, faster and short shooting times. Tom Cruise just broke his ankle shooting a stunt. There was a stunt man killed in a film about a rigged lottery(forget its name) hey told the widow they would not use the footage in the movie, guess what they lied, do not forget the Movie The Crow

As much as I love the movies & all that comes with them none of it is worth these injuries or someones life. I wish these stunt people all the best ( in their recoveries) & hope that they stay out of harm's way in the future by finding something safer to do behind the scenes. They don't want to risk hurting or killing A-list stars but your lives mean just as much.

This is the part where we all get to go awe, that's terrible, that makes me sad, and then carry on with our physical and mental well-being intact. Sorry this bummed some of you out, but that's a little selfish considering that you weren't actually hurt by it in anyway. Maybe you should be happy that these people are actually still alive.

The story about Olivia Jackson hit a nerve because she did everything she was supposed to and then faulty camera gear caused her such pain and suffering. I don't think any movie is worth the death of a crew member. However, it really sucks when stunt performers put so much on the line to make a shit movie like Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Olivia Jackson the stunt woman who was injured on set for resident evil is a strong woman. They ended up amputating her arm and the scumbags from the film screwed her over and didnt even pay her medical bills. She is finally talking about it now and is taking them to court with a full lawsuit. Its disgusting what they put her through!

IF. or rather WHEN. a stunt double get bad injuries and can never again do something.
Seeing how the movies take in 100s of millions. Why not set a side 5 - 10 million for safety and guarantee for the stunt doubles. IF a stunt double ever gets hurt bad.
At least, that is what i would do. But iam not like everyone else.

Some of these were the stuntmans fault, so you cant always get away with blaming the film people, or other such individuals. But i understand the need for them to be truly recognized, so they can be cared for after suffering injuries as much as possible.
