They probably never needed it that much after the first couple of months with it. Its also key to remember that EVERY student appears on the map, thats hundreds of students, and they would not know the names of everyone attending so one name wouldn't stand out that much, even their friends. Its notoreiuslt difficult to find people on the map because their are so many people on it. Not only that, but I highly doubt Fred and George would have really known what the name Peter Pettigrew entailed, Sirius was known as a mass murderer who killed 12 muggles, Wormtail was almost a forgotten part of the story. And it is doubtful that they ever felt the need to check in on Ron.

What happens if the maurarders made it do no one can see them on there so if it got in the hands of someone they hate they wouldn't go track the maurarders. In the movie it does show harry seeing Peter in the books this never happens. Lupin did say he saw Peter the day they revealed him in the streaking shack. Meaning the maurarders csnt be seen by other but can be seen by other maurarders so they can find there friends. Maurarders obviously when they made the map so you you can only see certain people and that and can also see people even in animigi form so the reason you can see Mrs. Norris is cause the maurarders made it so

Everyone says Looper didn't read the books, but no one explains why he is wrong. I'm not saying he is right at everything, but he is not wrong at everything either, I read the books. Rowling brings random plot changes throughout the books only when needed, and that's why the new saga of Fantastic Beasts can't stand for itself. Just a bunch of posers at the coments, trying to defend a story that was not meant to be that big form the begining.

Discriptive terminology is not shaming. it's discriptive. The rest of the video is worse. You don't need to be an adult to recognize any of these things. And, most of the things discussed show an utter lack of knowledge or appreciation of storytelling. Yet another awful video. Why do I keep getting pulled in, thinking one of your videos would be funny, or remotely thought inspiring.

If Harry had used the time turner e. g. to defeat Voldemort, that would have erased his reason to go back in time, so he wouldn't have done it despite the fact that he did do it, so the him that went back in time shouldn't exist because of his action.
In other words: Good job, you created a time paradox. Time travel isn't a fix it all as everyone and their mother seem to believe.

No one checked on Harry Potter for a decade thats not true at all. Because Prof. McGonagall is an animagious (sorry if I spelled that wrong) she checked on Harry numerous times to make sure he wasnt being abused Tom bad by the Dursleys. Poor research, most of this was addressed in the books and while the books arent perfect (nothing is) JKR did great work to interwove difficult issues from the perspective of Harry! I liked the production style of the video but the content needed to be worked on.
