She has a very universal face. Didn't know what her background was when I first saw her. At first I thought her accent sounded like a mix of penelope cruz and gal gadot. If you told me she was spanish or from israel id believe you. If she died her hair black and put on a sari and you told me she was a bollywood actress, id believe you. If you told me she was russian id believe you etc. etc.

I thought that this would have been a video tying her biological relationship to some other celebrities or similarly comparing her appearance with someone else. I understand that its likely method acting or perhaps even silly coworker dynamics. But just imagine if a male Hollywood actor said the same thing about working with an actress. Playing with her and touching her and whispering things to her before the scene. She was really uncomfortable. It really worked.

I always think Mila Kunis (who is Ukrainian-Jewish) looks a bit Hispanic as well and she has a similar beauty, with some similar 'round and full' yet cute facial proportions.
I guess both actors have ancestral links to the Levant / Near East.

I had a classmate in highschool whose face was pintpoint exactly Joi's. The only thing is that she was (and still is ) morbidly obese. I don't think she realizes how attractive she'd be if she just set her mind on loosing some weight.
