Horror Movies That Will Blow Everyone Away In 2019 Christopher: . OK, I actually just watched the first couple minutes of Horror Movies That Will Blow Everyone Away In 2018, and my first thought is, Looper should revise the title. First two movies from the 2018 vid were A Quiet Place, which many people liked, but many others didn't. Second movie was Slender Man, which I think was almost universally loathed. This at least calls into question the accuracy of the title
Second, is anyone really blown away by an upcoming list packed full of remakes? Generally speaking, there are more bad remakes than good ones for a number of reasons. This list is an indictment of the creative constipation that just seems to be getting worse each year.

The Blob with SamuelI'm in every movie Jackson. Garbage. M Night hasn't made a good film since Signs. James Wan had a good thing going until he decided a franchise was more important. Lame. It isn't filmmaking. There aren't any good horror films anymore. John Carpenter was the best and did it his way. IT is probably the closest thing to classic horror we will see.

Well, the only thing I can say about this list is that it's definitely focused on younger audiences. This type of horror is light, predictable, mainstream and 'politically correct'. Just what I hate in these productions. I'm desparately waiting for more mature, more risk-loaded productions than these pieces of commercial garbage.

By the end of conjuring 2 I was laughing so hard. The only connection the warrens had to the Enfield poltergeist case was they turned up uninvited and were turned away again by the mother Peggy. It was a complete load junk. All about Lorraine Warren and her nun.
The real story whether true or not was far more creepy.

I can't wait to see the crooked man. He was more scary to me than both Annabelle and Valak, but Valak wasn't really scary anyways. I plan on watching it in theaters as soon as it comes out along with the Conjuring 3. Me and my entire family is huge fans of the Conjuring universe, my favorite horror movies by far.

There was a remake of The Wizard of Oz in the 70's called The Wiz in case no one remembers that dumpster fire of a movie. Also, there was the tv series Tinman. Saying a movie like Firestarter hasn't aged well just because it doesn't have cellphones and modern slang is nonsense. Looking forward to Crooked Man

American Werewolf in London has been pulled its not happening.
Firestarter has no date and wont be this year.
The untitled Wizard of Oz horror may not happen at all now as theres an animated movie coming out.
The Blob well it wont be this year either and its more Sci-fi than horror.

Im literlly not blown away by this.
sadly no teven blown at.
2019 wil be just as sad of a year for Mainstream movies as the 10 years before.
BTW none of the mentioned movies needed a remake, they where fine.
The wallets of the producers need this remakes.
(just my opinion)

Not one Im excited about. Also, the only ressemblance I see with Nazisme these days, are all these intolerant people asking for tolerance in the most hysterical and hypocritical way. Who said new fascists would be the self called anti-fascists, again?
reply

Let's be honest: the only good horror movie in the universe created by the Conjuring, is the Conjuring itself. The Nun, Conjuring 2, Annabelle Creation, etc, were all crap. So maybe the Crooked Man will be good, maybe it won't. It hasn't got good odds.
