A scab is a replacement worker who does the work of someone who belongs to a union and is on strike. Jennings is clearly neither a union member nor a replacement worker, so he isn't actually a scab. Good on Mayim for being supportive of the writers, however, if she had chosen to continue her hosting duties, she wouldn't be a scab either. At the same time, there shouldn't be ill will to Jennings for continuing to do his job. After all the WGA isn't on strike because of Jeopardy.

I stopped watching after Alex Trebek passed. I'm 39 and going on Jeopardy and meeting him was on my bucket list. I played to win against my family since the 80's and actually got answers right after I was 5 or 6 and got more right than wrong around highschool.
Jennings and Bialik are great and everything, but they're not Alex.

If your writing isn't better than chat gpt, you shouldn't be writing anyway. From what I've heard, the AI's jokes were funnier, and the shows they write are far better than most people writers. Automation has taken many jobs, and it is time to lose yours, too.

I remember the last big writer's strike mid 2000s. All the shows got short seasons. It sucked. Hopefully it won't be dragged out so long this time. Then again, shows were good back then. I'd pay them less, not more, for the garbage they churn out now.

Jennings is showing his support to the writers by staying on the show unlike the other host. Hilarious. Will be even more comical when she loses her hosting duties for good by supporting the people that can t get her job back.

Kick her to the curb. Standing in solidarity, a/k/a not dependable, leaves the producers wondering what cause she ll stand behind next. As the cliche goes, the best ability is availability. I hope Jennings snags the spot permanently.

Ken Jennings got the job by being an intelligent person.
Mayim Bialik got her job for pretending to be a intelligent person.
Also curious if jeopardy could be written by AI. If so these writers may have lost there jobs.

The BTS staff are most probably all union members themselves, if they haven't joined the pickets then I'd say Jennings is doing the right thing by continuing and allowing them to continue to earn their living

Blossom should leave hosting to likeable people. Pointless nonsense protest from irrelevant people. Maybe if all the writers left, people would actually watch their shows again.

I just laugh at the writer strike. They do realize they are no longer needed in the modern world right? This is like Blockbuster employees going on strike early 2000s. NOBODY CARES!

Ken s the most natural host. He sounds like he knows the answers. Her hosting style of looking to the judges after each response halted the flow or momentum of the game.

What kind of talent do you need to write jeopardy questions? My 10yo can do it with their laptop. I can do it with my phone.
