The Untold Truth Of The Dog Whisperer Sybil: MY husband grew up in his Dads veterinarian hospital. mucking out cages from age 6 for pay. HE assisted his Dad with operations on dogs and cats, his father at first had a large animal practice in rural NC. so my husband helped deliver colts, calves etc, assisted doing surgery on large animals etc. THis made my husband love animals. except cats. who scratched him too many times. he learned to earn his own money, work hard, no human or animal smells bother him in the least. He bought his first car a 31 Model A roadster when he was 14. HE began investing in land as a teenager. He has a work ethic that wont quit. But it took Cesan Milan to convince me we could have our first large breed dog. two American bull, Dalamatian, Boxer mixes known in Guatemala as dogo Guatemaltecos. in Argentina, as dogos Argentinos used to, guard coffee fincas and cattle estancias respectively. wonderful dogs. WE had two, pr of Guatemalatecos before now owning a Rottie. I had trained dogs but wasnt too, sure, of such large breeds. all, have been great. so gracias Ceasar. you are wonderful. FElicidades y lo major suerte in la Vidal y amor!

Cesar millan has been an inspection to me and many others. Because of him I had my first dog ever who was a pitbull, trained to walk off leash by my side and obey nearly all my commands by 7 month old. Because of him I was able to train my second dog to be an ESA who is so well-behaved he could go to college with me ride the city bus and go anywhere with me we're dogs aren't normally allowed to go. Cesar millan inspired me to devote the rest of my life understanding dog behaviors and rehabilitate dogs with bad habbits. Cesar millan was the spark that lead me to realize my passion for dogs and my purpose in life.

Well. I don't see anything wrong in Cesar's training. It's like with kids, you have to punish them (with slap for example) so they finally learn. That's also how it works in animal kingdom.
All of those whiners are products of today's stress less raising model (kids and animals, they're probably highly educated (look at comment section - how many phds sharing their opinions) + some are dog trainers but they're crap and no match for Cesar.
Let them live in this virtual world that allows them to have opinion but please keep them locked in there: )
Cesar does great job.

As some who had some knowledge about dogs Ill just put this out there. Unfortunately the best way to get a dog to stop attacking is choking kicking hitting or even pulling the dog off is not a good because it can escalate things. However I myself have kicked a dog that was attacking my (service) dog because your own human instincts take over. I dont agree with the dominant/submissive relationship with dogs, it doesnt actually train your dog anything just makes your dog fear you.
With that being said I dont like him because I just dont like his training methods.

yeh ive seem them people wining about cesar using his foot to poke dogs at the butt. people let me tell you. i am high up as soon as i see animal abuse. and even if there are sometimes moments when i am saying (rarely happening) that hes been a bit harsh eventually to an insecure dog, still i have to say he is one of the best dog trainers ive ever seen. if i compare him to this british female dog trainer in television that suggest to train dogs individually and keeping them separated from each other. shows me way more that she has no idea about a dog at all.

All of these clips are taken out of context and are for people who do not follow Ceaser's videos. Especially at 0: 22 where he is actually trying to heal holly from her aggressive fears, and heal her family so they dont give her up. All the other bad clips actually look like he handles them really gently. Its the dog going crazy that people look at and go Oh no! but thats normal untrained dog behavior. As for his Labrador having bruises from exercise, I dont like that, but perhaps we aren't hearing the full story.

I do agree with some of the ways that he teaches and i do believe he got too much hate, but you have to consider that he trains the dogs by scaring them and he even released a collar that chokes the dogs and hurts them if they pull on the leash. I would much rather use positive reinforcement to make a dog do something than scaring them or choking them. But some of his ways are good like in his case he has very aggressive dogs so he has to do harsh things or he will get bit.

To the people who freak out over how he acts towards Holly, you should see what she does for Cesar now. She is his most submissive dog and helps him to rehabilitate other dogs. If he didn't know what he was doing, she would've stayed the same, if he was cruel, she would've been neurotic and unbalanced. A pack leader in nature is far more cruel than Cesar has to be in 90% of his cases, and when he isn't, he is challenging a dog to stop aggressive/dominant behavior.

I don't agree with his illegal entry but he does great work and he made the necessary sacrifices to achieve his dream. Also, a lot of people don't realize how tough you need to be with some dogs. just see how dogs deal with other troubled dogs. People are the worst. as soon as a person achieves success losers want some of it. I have nothing but respect for the man.

At the time Cesar had no control over the dog, he thought he did but unfortunately he didn't. He did one common mistake and got bit by an unfamiliar dog. He couldn't just of told the dog to stop if he had no control over him. That dog was bone deep in so he put a barrier between him and the dog. He then adopted the dog and they became close friends
