The Most Expensive Movie Scenes Ever Filmed Myra: I feel like in a lot of these cases I'd prefer to see the money and energy focused elsewhere. Sometimes the most powerful way to show someone losing their family is to put more emphasis on their reactions than on the visuals of their family and lots of other people dying on a giant public chos scene. Fancy cars and special effects feel like window-dressing to tell the same old story when we could be motivated to write a better one without budgetary fireworks to lean on. In the case of military movies, the fact that the movies usually depend on the US army to crete authentic stuff on a large scale means the most impressively splashy movies never get to really ask the hard questions about war or the American military. If we must relive the trauma of the worst of human nature, we can at least pick a medium less inherently pro-war than current hollywood film.

Also, REALISTICALLY, when talking about PEARL HARBOR! Among other historical inaccuracies, THE JAPANESE NEVER ATTACKED THE HOSPITAL! They specifically kept their attack to the military base, the ships and airfield in particular! My grandfather was THERE, and even HE was offended by it! .Though oddly Japanese viewers weren't, which is WEIRD to me.

what idiot agreed to pay Brando so much with top billing? the movie wasn't about him. ridiculous. if Anthony Hopkins had gotten the same deal for Silence Of The Lambs it would have at least been justifiable since his character and portrayal made the film. the same is not said of Brando in Superman.

Antiocha is just one of the oldest cities in the world. Besides Rome and Alexandria, it also was one of the largest cities. The Middle East is not just a place that you can bomb from time to time, you know?

I am legend, basically predicts the nightmare we are going through now! The conspiracy theorists were right, a police state, and a NWO, cash abolished, eventually, 1 world currency!

How is Tom Cruise an enigmatic star. He would never have been in a movie if i were god. Maybe Jerry McGuire was his best moment. Ben Hur doesn't have the soul of Spartacus.

I would've said the hallway scene from Inception I don't know how much it cost, but it looks like a lot from looking at all the tech used
