Posters That Spoiled The Entire Movie
video description
Thor Dark World - Loki is the main one in the poster, no Thor, no Odin, just Mjolnir and Odins crown at Loki's foot
King Kong - shows King Kong on the statue of liberty
Prometheus - shows the ending
Star Trek Into Darkness - shows the enterprise falling down to earth which is what happens (there is also another poster that shows Khan (Benedict) looking down at Starfleet Academy from the wreckage of the starship)
Wicker Man - shows the wicker man set alight with Christopher Lee right next to it.
Planet Of The Apes - literally spoils the YOU BLEW IT UP! DAMN YOU. DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL! scene
Avengers Infinity War - Thailands poster actually spoils the ending as the tagline says Avengers: Annihilated

Phone Booth was ruined the second you heard his voice, not just by the trailer. You knew who the villain was right away. They should've picked an unknown for that film. But I still remember that film in a teaser trailer that had Jim Carrey in it. He must have dropped out after Schumacker got the director's chair after Batman Forever.

I was so hyped when the teaser of Terminator Genisys dropped, then the trailer dropped and left nothing for the imagination. I have yet to actually watch the movie because I feel like the trailers did a good enough job at showing all the essential plot details. Not sure why studios would show so much of their movies free of charge

Thankfully I actually hadn't seen that poster, nor watched the trailer. Was surprised by the twist; although can't say delighted. Movie was just OK at best.
As for Phone Booth, never saw any posters just had it on DVD and the cover I had didn't have the antagonist on thankfully.

not only did a poster ruin 10 Cloverfield Lane, but the trailer shows her seeing the alien ship coming up over the house too. so when youre watching the movie, and theyre stuck inside a house the entire time, you eventually realize thats how its gonna end

How to Train Your Dragon 3, after spoiling Hiccup's mom's revival in the second movie's trailer the third movie's poster shows a female dragon love interest for Toothless, a dragon built up to be the last of his species.
Haven't even seen the trailer yet.

The Rocky 4 movie poster can be shrugged off as in certain movies like the Rocky series and the Mission Impossible movies, we know the protagonists would eventually kick the villain's ass!
No spoliers for that.

It's why I don't watch trailers and be late after the scheduled showtime on purpose. But even posters get on my nerves. It's why I turn more to anime because they give away less and can be a hit or miss.

Doesn't a lot of character/actor representation on posters come down to actor billing? I feel it's the business of film making that's spoiling the art of film making to some extent here.

Ender's Game - Nope. It shows Ender in command of the superweapon, but the real twist is not revealed: That there was no simulation, and this was all real. Doesn't belong on this list.
