1)it already reveals how Michael escapes (bus crash)
2)it reveals Michaels body count 3 teenage girls(really only 3 killed Ive heard of aging senior citizens who have killed more then him. How terrifying)
3)Michael is wearing the mechanic coveralls when he picks up the mask therefore we no the order of the kill before he gets the mask
4)The documentary creators are seen being killed now we know what happens to them, wheres the suspense
5)Lori makes a comment about wanting to kill him and we are seen with her practicing and hiding secret rooms now we know her character again suspense build up is ruined
6)the mask looks like crap we see how the mask is first revealed to Michael, would rather find that out watching the movie
7)the babysitter closet scene will probably be the best kill in the movie and I already scene it. the trailer ruined the surprise
8)the reveal of the mask, first off when the documentary guy pulls out the mask these crazy people start going all crazy it sound like a group of dudes getting off, not very scary
9)we know Lori has a grand daughter
10)They recreated the she not her sister its just a myth so then if thats true why does Michael keep trying to kill her, really it makes no sense

i disagree with the way they made the timeline -- it should have picked up after 5 -- where jamie was at the police station and michael is freed by the devil -- jamie is taken and hidden by loomis who later dies -- jamie and laurie her mom reconnect in this movie as they both know michael is alive and coming for both of them and its only a matter time -- michael comes back and kills jamie leaving laurie to fight michael to the end or die herself -- with the ultimate final battle between brother and sister -- evil vs good -- i do not like the timeline or events in this movie -- they basically went to a parallel universe and its not what the franchise was about -- even 4 would have been fine with jamie committed and laurie goes to rescue her knowing michael is out there and ready -- but ignoring all that has happened will not make a great movie -- there be some moments but it will not be what we all expected -- not even jamie lee curtis could save it -- it needed danielle harris and some continuation and conclusion to the franchise -- this leads me to believe there will be another halloween and this is not the end of it --

I think this movie is going to be great and all but I just cant get behind the level of Lauries trauma. Since theyre picking up right after the first one and ignoring the sequels, including 2, hes only killed Three people connected to her. The fact they arent siblings anymore means theyre not connected at all and she was just an innocent bystander of his escape that night. So Idk why shes this paranoid and is putting this much prep into it. He killed three of her friends, she stabbed him in the neck with a knitting needle, in the eye with a hanger, and in the chest with his knife, then he was shot and fell 2 stories. Scary stuff but Halloween 2 goes into depth on his resilience and he racks up the body count in that movie. She witnessed all of that and yet she wasnt this traumatized in H20.

I know usually eerybody ends up dead but this video sorta spoils the cast destiny leaving me with a sense of i already know how this is gonna go because i know Laurie isnt dying in this one i dont think the fans would be pleased also you cant kill her twice killing her off was definetly a mistake, if the writters were gonna kill her off and bring her back to life they just should have done what James Wan did with Alice, different timelines, i dont know how i feel about this continuing after the second one and ignoring the previous thing, another thing i do know is that this reeboot sequel whatever wont probably please all the fans because it is most likely targeted towards a different younger audience.

I wouldn't even consider this as a sequel to the first 1. They would need to redo the 1st movie to have this make sense. Michael is a horror icon for what he is. Now they want to ruin this horror icon because how the hell a 61 year old guy be so strong. Kill 3 people don't usually put you in a nut house. They want to do away what Michael has done to make him plain and dull. Now we will have to dismiss this version of Michael as the boogeyman because he is just plain. This movie won't explain why he stalked Lori if he isn't her brother and how he survived 6 shots and walk away from the 1st movie. All I can dumb people want to ruin a character.

They never even made a follow up to that movie. The franchise died after that, until Rob zombie picked it up. So your facts don't make sense and aren't true. I'm still pissed about michael isn't Lori isn't sister anymore I just feel empty without it and wouldn't it make more sense that Lori would have prepared for this long for her brother rather than just a random dude who attacked her one night 40 years ago and I know Michael is pure evil but why would he hell bent on her specifically unless he wants to finish the job he started when he was a kid and why he was stalking her through out the first movie who agrees with me

It doesnt bother me that they miss out Halloween 2 on this new timeline. i never enjoyed that sequel, i found it slow, devoid of any tension, and a poor cash-in on the original. (Not to mention Jamie's dodgy wig) I enjoyed Halloween 4 as a sequel. I also really enjoy 'Halloween 3: Season of the witch', but as we all know, thats a stand alone movie. I look forward to watching this as a better attempt of continuing from the first film.

Yeah, Halloween had it's imperfections for it's movies but I wish before whoever retconned the timeline could have brought closure to the originals like after ressurection. Just finish what they started, finalize the damn series. It's like having the deathly hallows pt. 1 with no pt. 2.

The one thing in the original that i loved the most is a pretty small detail but at the end when the theme song started playing and all you hear is Michael breathing in his mask. It was so freaky and i don't remember the theme song being like that in any of the other sequels. The way the breathing sounded along with the theme song was just so awesome
