Seinfeld is my favorite sitcom ever (next to The Simpsons and American Dad. Never ever watch that crime against humanity called The BBT, but I sort of cringe when I watch that 2 part series finale thinking about the real Good Samaritan Law and how awful the victims have it. I remember seeing a guy get his car stolen from the parking lot of Dorny Park in Pennsylvania when I was about 9 years old and nobody would help the poor bastard screaming his head off. We live in a cruel world sometimes.

Wait how is the last one dark? A new manager wants to hire their own people so they fired everyone. That isn't dark it's an asshole. We have on this list, Going to prison(when all other forms says it's a fine, Mass freezing to death/painful-experimentation(movie was a crapshot joke)/Remembering ordering a mother to keep her baby quiet, but under pressure kills the child/and then someone is fired from their job. I like how that is considered dark.

i recently watched mash because my grandpa would always rant and rave about it all the time and wouldnt shut up about it.
until one day i finally sat down and watched the show entirely. after watching the finale i just sat there staring at my monitor with a hollow-pit feeling in my stomach
i thought about it for weeks after. i still get choked up thinking about it to this day.

It's been a long time since I watched it, but I'm pretty sure Ray in Everybody Loves Raymond died in the final episode. sort of. He went into some surgery, but joked about it as always. However, the doctor later came out and told them they were having problem waking him up. Fortunately he did wake up eventually, but for a long time, everyone thought he was dead.

I'm surprised the Season 8 Finale of Red Dwarf (Only the Good) wasn't mentioned. but considering it's a British Sitcom, that's probably why. Ending with Rimmer stuck on Red Dwarf as the ship becomes a flaming wreck, and with the Grim Reaper arriving to prepare Rimmer to cross over to the other side, Rimmer groins Death in the privates & runs off.

My coworkers and I were reminded of MTM's finale on our last day before our office shut down. As we were packing up to leave the facility for the last time, someone going out the door after punching out, reached back in and turned out the lights. It didn't hit us until she turned them back on. I miss those people - don't miss the job.

The Dinosaurs is one of my favorite shows. Now thinking about that ending, it is very dark. Imagine them trying to survive and Baby Sinclair trying to a survive too. Its basically the equivalent to you and your own family surviving and your youngest child dies, didnt live long enough to experience life, just.

The finale of How i met your Mother was based more on a flat out lie than just being dark. People were told that Ted and Robin would never settle down together. Then they killed off the mother of his children to make it happen at the very end.

They should do one with kid shows. Dark endings or unfinished endings.
Xiolin showdowns final episode(2005) had them in apocalyptic future. Jack won, he enslaved the world and kills off all the characters.

MASH finale would also have been dark if it was a chicken.
But imagine if in HIMYM he killed the Mother himself? Or in ALF the family killed ALF? (or the cats ate him)
so much dark possibilities.
