The Biggest Payouts In Storage Wars History TonesTheGeek: Assuming any of the stuff that happens on that show is even real, one cannot help but feel sorry for the people who originally owned the contents of the storage units. Sure it's their fault for failing to pay the bills considering they clearly were sitting on the money to pay, but we never hear about the circumstances on the other end. for all we know that collection of comics and toys took some poor guy's entire life to amass and just like that he loses his entire investment.

this show is so fake. If you have 300 grand in paintings why would you let the locker go into repossession over most likely hundreds of dollars. if I had 300 grand worth of stuff in a storage locker which would never happen because who would do that in there right mind anyways but I would be selling anything I had to not lose that money. The show is rigged and fake.

My dad and uncle appeared on one season, they were the Kings of Swag, the identical twins. According to them, everything that was found in the units was legit. Though, they did exaggerate when they went to have items looked at and what the prices were on them

This show makes me crazy. unless the stuff is actually brought to someone else to appraise (like the art. just cause those guys say it is worth 60 grand. does not make it worth 60 grand. I think Dave Hester over prices every item he sees.

I don't understand how people with these expensive collections loose their storage buildings. poor people do all the time but I don't understand how people knowing they got something so valuable would just loose the lockers.

I know it was fake but still enjoyed watching the show every week, I always wanted to be one of the unknown extras bidding in back ground yelling yuuuuup and tell my kids that was me. Lol

This is reality crap t. v. There's nothing that's ever left in these lockers that's worth anything. All reality tv is fake. Duck people, this crappyv show, pawn stars etc etc. Fake!

To bad all the rare stuff they found all went back to the owners that's why this show never did a update or did you ever see inside the shop's the people own.

I'm trying to figure out why someone would put in storage things worth over 100, 000. 00. If I had things that valuable I sure wouldn't trust a storage unit.

Ive been in Jarod's shop that was located in Orange, CA. but it has since moved. Dave Hester was at the Cypress swapmeet for a while years ago.
