While thanos is not gonna be defeated with the gaunlet on the hands of some avengers I reckon, because in the process of killing the mad titan, we are expecting the end of some of our heroes such as iron man and captian America (which is depending on the contract of the actors who are potraying the role). So once they are dead, they should be dead forever and shouldn't be able to brought back to life. so wielding the gaunlet is an out of the situation question.
Who knows how will the story go.

Iron man is, and always will be the greatest hero in the entire MCU. without him the MCU would've crumbled, iron man will always be my favorite superhero of all time and i really hope he's the one who kills thanos because he started the MCU and he'll end the biggest threat in the MCU. so iron man is the best and powerful avenger. love iron man.

If I were Doctor Strange I would use the time stone on Tony Stark. Tony Stark is the smartest man in the marvel universe so giving him infinite time to figure out how to stop Thanos means he would eventually think of something. Had Strange used the stone on Stark early on he would have infinite time to find ways of stopping Thanos.

With Iron man having a Laser that was used to cut the drones in half in the second movie, I just do not understand why Dr. Strange did not tell Tony to use it in the fight to take off the Gauntlet.
But I guess that is always Hollywood's way to keep our butts coming back to see the next movie.

thanos is able to weird the stones thanks in part to the gauntlet built for him by the dwarf. it's sole purpose is who protect the weilder from the power of the stones. anyone can use the stones if they get their hand on the gauntlet.

Honestly, for years, I only envisioned Adam Warlock being the one to wear the gauntlet, or at least beat Thanos. Unfortunately, I dont think were gonna see him until 2020 or even 2021. I think 2020.

What about this one? Rouge will come out of nowhere, absorb Captain Marvel powers and erase her from existence. Then she will help Avengers beat Thanos. MCU and day is saved, tadaaa, da end.
