The Darkest Episodes Of Kids' TV Shows BriceGum: WRONG! The Sad Story of Henry isn't dark, so how is it that dark? All because the Fat Controller built a brick wall in front of him until he is ready to come out of the tunnel/for always and always and always just because Henry was afraid of the rain? That is just him giving Henry a punishment that really maybe sad, but it's not as dark as any other episode.
The darkest episodes of the show are actually Haunted Henry and Stepney Gets Lost, those were two of the episodes that were dark. 'Arry and Bert have put Stepney into the scrapyard by a huge grabber that is about to scrap him (which he was about to get murdered by that thing, and as for Haunted Henry, Henry had to deal with the spooky sights about ghosts.

There was an episode of Doug (same time frame) where they touched on the topic of eating disorders. The girls felt they were fat and went on some crazy diet. One was actually eating but the other slowing ceasing to eating on top of doing a lot of exercising.
You could see the toll it was taking on her and the scene where she collapse was pretty bad.

flashbacks to the amazing world of gumballs ending and distorted music from the end of the last episode of gumball starts to play in my head
Me: NOOOO THAT FCKING SHOW WAS MY CHILDHOOD AND IT GOT RUINED BY THE DARKEST ENDING EVER! NOO I CANT TAKE IT! REEEEEEE

That Boy Meets World episode is made all the worse as that is Jonathan Turners last scene on the show. Technically he didn't die, but for all the absence of him afterward he may as well have.
But I hear he came back on the reboot, so okay. We'll see

In Angelicas worst nightmare theres another heavy theme which you didnt talk about. The fact they didnt have the baby after all implying an abortion or miscarriage. Angelica is pleased by the fact her sibling either never existed or was killed.

The Sad Story Of Henry is not THAT dark. In the following episode (Edward, Gordon & Henry, Henry is let out of the tunnel again to help Edward pull the Express when Gordon bursts his safety valve and can't pull the train anymore. :)

In tom and jerry got hit by the train actually, Tom jumped out of the way the last second and Jerry was to small to get hit by a train
Well that's my opinion let me know your opinions or agree with mine( don't have to like )

The only one if these I find that Dark is the Thomas the Tank Engine henry episode. I mean that's pretty grim to block him in the tunnel just because he was frightened of something and then the narrator saying he deserved it

I always rooted for Tom as a kid, those rare shorts where he came out on top always made me smile. The one set during the French Revolution where he got the guillotine at the end always disturbed me though.

TRUE, the Tom and Jerry episode premise was messed up. but what about the schadenfreude from Angelica. I mean it's pretty sick that she's pumped about her mother's possible miscarriage or abortion.
