4 Best And 4 Worst Things About Captain Marvel Adam: Both critics and fans think its pretty darn ok!
That is the best way to describe it. Just meh.
But I dont get the accolades regarding Captain marvels attributes, I saw none of that. She seemed like she was board of her own move the whole way thru. This movie is tied neck and neck with Thor a dark world as the most bland and unimportant movie of the MCU. The only time I felt anything was in the end credit scene when she showed up after the snap. That few seconds of her had more impact then the entire movie. In that end credit scene I saw Captain Marvel emote real concern and emotions like a real person over her overwhelming concern for fury. Thats the only thing that gives me hope for Captain Marvel in the future. She needs to be more the a over powered woman effortlessly defeating everything thrown at her with a smug I got this attitude.
The movie was shit but Im not writing off the character. I hope she is more interesting in endgame and the future.

i felt the movie was OK but could have been better to be honest, just a little more explanation for people unfamiliar with captain marvel for example, also some of the action sequences with Brie felt really. I'm not exactly sure how to put it honestly, it just felt like she was NEVER in danger despite being in a fight, Brie also felt very, stone faced, not showing very much of any emotion even when the time called for it, a good comparison is Kristen Stewart in Twighlight, you know what she should be feeling but the feeling just isn't there.
the movie was alright, but it could have been ALOT better, either by a different actress or better action sequences that brought you into the movie more and made you worry that she might actually be in danger.

Stop playing softball, Looper! Saw a piece of the movie where Captain Marvel talked to Nick Fury in a very condescending, disrespectful tone. For me, it was the straw that broke the camel's back. I have no desire to see this movie, ever. Thought Nick Fury was great in that same scene; also saw Goose in the mid-credit scene--he was adorable! Also saw the part at the beginning where Jude Law's character is giving her the beat down verbally every time she comes up with an excuse as to why she can't best him---loved it! Wish I could get away with doing the same to all the smart-mouthed btches I come into contact with in my life. So, I've already seen everything I've wanted to see anyway.

This movie was disappointing from a Marvel Superhero standpoint. The story was weak and so was the acting. Jackson did the best job, but he came off more so as a whiner than an Agent of SHIELD. He plays a much better badass than a sadass. Larson was easily forgettable in her role as Captain Marvel. Often her acting made it appear as if she was simply reading the dialogue in the script. I had higher hopes for this movie, much higher but the problems started with the story and kept getting worse from there.
Now we have to hope they don't rely too heavily on the Captain Marvel character in the Avengers movie or it will wreck it.

Brie Larsons acting wasnt great but it also wasnt terrible. I think at some moments sometimes it didnt feel like she had much emotion while saying her lines and it felt a bit more lol she was just reading the script than acting. Captain Marvel is still a good character I havent read the comics so idk what she was like in the comics but I think the acting could have been a bit better. I will give her some credits for doing pretty good with acting when her character herself was trying to figure out who she was and that seems like a very difficult role to do and I will giver her some credit for taking on that role

She didnt nail this part sorry that is a complete falsehood, the movie was ok, slow getting started, second hour was where it got good. I am pretty sure another actor would of been a better choise, I felt her lacking, Jackson however was spot on as usual as he is an excellent actor. Wonder Woman worked so well because Gadot became Wonder Woman, Larson never became Capt Marvel, she tried but never got there. I would of rather Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Summer Glau, Milla Jovovich, Lauren Cohan, Emily Blunt, Uhma Thurman someone along that talent be Captain marvel. Larson just missed the mark sorry.

The movie was alright overall. I wasn't jumping out of my seat but it was worth a one time watch. The story line was slow, fight scenes weren't full of action especially in the end. I liked some scenes of her memory sequence when she was trying to stand up after being knocked down every time and broke free from the restraint. The post credit scene got me so excited. I'd love to see how she shines in the End Game and works with the others! On a side note- I loved how they paid tribute to Stan Lee. People were clapping in the theatre. Sweet how Captain Marvel smiled at Stan in his last cameo: '(

Part of the reason why this movie didnt kill it was because when you compare it to the likes of Infinity War, it was never going to live up to the power and thrill of that movie.
The biggest contributor to this was the fact the the stakes werent well established. We figured out that the Kree were the true antagonists, but to what extent? It was undetermined. Thats a major problem in the movie that it necessary for a climax.
On another note, on its own Captain Marvel is a good movie, and it does okay fitting into the MCU, but not as well as we probably wouldve hoped.

I never felt like The Star Force had a low power level. In fact Jude Law seemed, at least to me, their intro by Brie as an elite hero squad was a sufficient description. It was their first mission together. As it was Supreme Intelligence who had authorized the addition of then Brie, as a Kree Agent in training. Since it was her first mission. It was Jude's character to be her personal mentor, but he was really there to keep her in check. Which explains his odd interaction with her as both mentor/villain.
