There's a big continuity issue in the MCU now with Captain Marvel - unless I'm missing something, someone please call me out on it.
Captain America first introduces the tesseract.
CA Concludes and Howard Stark fishes the tesseract out of the ocean and is kept safely in SHIELD custody.
SHIELD begins experimenting with it eventually leading to Project Pegasus for light speed travel leading us into Captain Marvel.
Light Speed Aircraft crashes and Mar-Vell dies. Carol Danvers shoots the core engine containing the tesseract.
What Captain Marvel doesn't show (unless I completely blanked and missed it) is how the tesseract proceeded to end up at her secret lab orbiting Earth?
Did some Skrulls come by before SHIELD agents arrived at the Pegasus crash site and take the Tesseract to her lab?
Other than that - the rest of the timeline thereafter flows pretty smoothly.

Recently watched this movie. So, here is my theory. Captain Marvel said in the later part of the film that she will help find the Skrulls a home. And since her powers came from the light speed engine in which Mar-vell made and which can make her cross dimensions, what if she brought the skrulls to the Quantum Realm. And as of now, the Skrulls are the inhabitants of the microcities. When Nick Fury paged Captain Marvel in Infinity War, she was at the Quantum Realm then rushed to go back to Earth. Then Ant-man followed Captain Marvel's path which leads him to go back to Earth. Or maybe Ant-man used the the ship of Mar-vell in which the Skrulls used to look for a home in the Captain Marvel Movie because that ship also had a light speed engine.

Who is the 1st hero to exist; captain marvel or captain america? If captain america was the 1st then how can anyone explain that the cube was on earth as redskull used to make hydra weapons and in the end scenes of captain marvel we saw that the cube was actualy in a spaceship which was orbiting earth made by marvel. How does the captain america the 1st avenger movie showed the cube to be on earth? And if the cube was in odin's tresser room then how did marvel use it to built a lightspeed engine and how did it got to the spaceship of marvel and why didn't anyone started searching for it at the 1st place if it was actualy on earth and got missing after captain america got frozen in the ice?

Biggest unanswered questions:
1. Why didn't Captain Marvel have any character development? She was the same person throughout the movie. To me, she seems a lot like Thor was before he became humble, but she never changed.
2. Why didn't Captain Marvel have any love interest like all the other Avengers did in their movies? Wouldn't it have been cool if Capt. Marvel had a romantic interest with Jude Law's character. That would have improved the storyline. Especially when all is revealed about Jude Law's character. Missed opportunity.
3. When did Nick Fury become Nick Fury? Obviously Nick Fury from the past was a comic relief goofball. When did he toughen up and become a badass?

If what Samuel said in an interview is true, Captain Marvel would really be more powerful(not strictly combat-wise) than Thor. And if she can wield the space stone's power, then that would mean she can travel through space too. Being able to withstand the power of the stone is I think inferior than being able to wield it(if comparing two characters which are on the same side.
We don't know, maybe Carol could withstand all the stones' powers too, we don't have the chance to see that yet til Endgame. Plus, maybe the film didn't let us see all Captain Marvel's ability. so we really can't say anything for sure.
But still, I think Goose is the most powerful in MCU up to date.

As to sheer power? depends. I'd argue Valkyr or Lady Sif easily as strong (physically) if not stronger. For timy whimy light shows. Scarlet Witch or Geen Grey, or Lady Thor. and though Hel is anit-hero as I said in another of your videos. she had no problem taking on most of asguard, phyiscally as strong as thanos and depending on the mood or the writers: stronger. Beta Ray Bill (depending on the writers): He/She: Mimic abilities, Is also Thor, and almost industructable. and was on Planet Hulk in a cameo going toe to toe with Game Master with no problems at all. I have no idea clearly if He/She will get more than a brief cameo.

Did anyone else in the Captain Marvel movie Fury and Coulson kept saying they worked for S. H. I. E. L. D but that name wasn't thought of until Ironman 1, much later than when this takes place.
Also Fury said everyone calls him Fury but I just watched the Winter Soldier and Robert Redford's character called him Nick throughout most of the movie.
Just a couple I saw. It was an okay movie but it looked like someone who never watched the other Marvel movies produced this without regards to other timelines the other movies set up. Just my opinion

Captain Marvel is the introduction of the most powerful MCU hero to date Nope, you keep believing what Kevin Feige said despite the fact they constantly lie to not reveal everything, especially when the only movie in between Avengers Inifinty war and Endgame(besides Ant-man and the Wasp) is Captain Marvel, you KNOW they have to hype it in order to make it matter at all after the Snap. She is far weaker than Thor, what the movie showed was Iron Man levels if not worse.

I really enjoyed the film, unlike the bunch of whining 20 year old boys behind me who kept sighing, groaning and throwing popcorn. I guess that's the problem with those post-MTV generations who have all the attention span of a mayfly. It takes the maturity of someone who was raised on films as diverse as Raging Bull, Dr Zhivago and All About Eve to appreciate that a film doesn't have to be all about blasters going 'pow, pow, pow, POW, KABOOM! '.
