So if Captain Marvel absorbed power from the space stone in the tesseract, then there's no way she could just show up to beat Thanos on her own since he owns all the gems. So maybe people should relax a bit when they think she's just gonna show up and save everyone. Vision' s power came from a stone as well, and he was made short work of.

Funny how they keep saying that the Tesseract was retconned to become the space stone. Really! If that was the case then in Captain America where it first appeared why the hell did it open up a portal to space? Marvel already had plans for the Tesseract to be the Space Stone from the very beginning. There was no retconning.

I've been a fan of your Science episodes for years now and THIS masterpiece into Wraith's Power breakdown is my absolute Favorite. You with the inclusion of the Many Worlds Theory have answered a offhanded question that I have been wondering on for quite a long time. Thank You.

You know, we could still see a legit Cosmic Cube. The writers could just say that the ancient Celestials or whoever encased the Space Stone into the Tesseract modeled the case after a real Cosmic Cube. Still viable unless End Game somehow closes that possibility off.

My theory is that the tesseract was in Gooses stomach until after infinity what (hence the empty nick fury chair) and that the what ever appearance its made is between that has been a fake tesseract that draws power from the real one like the light speed engine.

Wait. I just realized the tesseract burns through the bottom of the helicarrier and falls into the ocean, but it just sits on fury's desk with no issues. What causes it to go through some surfaces but leave others unharmed?

Actually the real question is.
who was the God level fool who decided to put one of the greatest powerful objects in the universe inside a glass cube?
You weren't expecting a Gamora joke were you.

Looper, there is a detail missed about The Tessaract: It was hidden in Norway where The Red Skull found it in Captain America The First Avenger, possibly The Norse people for The Asgardians
