Anyone who complains about a sea of undead monsters fighting armies of the living with dragons is just straight up goofy. The show was fantastic.
House of the dragon is straight garbage. Absolutely horrible. Nothing about this show is good. Anyone saying otherwise has no business judging entertainment.

It's relatively small-scale and thinking of GoT an array of great and striking characters comes up that Dragon misses (yet, Ser Criston, Larys and Viserys are ultimately great. It seems to be more focused, though, and the intrigue is generally engaging. It's more in line with (mostly British) royal history too, which Martin seems to love sprinkling his stories with.

Its because they have the source material again! That's why the last seasons of GOT were shit because they ran out of George's material, as long as the new show has the source material they'll be great! That's why that Jon Snow sequal is a terrible idea! No source material, and people wanna forget season 8 not build on it lol

Yeah I was all about this show until Olivia Cooke said they told her to play Alicent like a woman of Trump. whatever the hell that means. I mean seriously. Why can't these absolute asshats just make art without politicizing it? Hollywood needs to die a slow painful death.

I will Happly watch House of the Dragon once Martin finishes Winds of Winter and A Promise of Spring. Once those are out both in Hardcover I will catch House of Dragon, Till then. screw giving him more of my time.

To say that it's winning us back is a bit of a stretch but it's a good show, not nearly half as good as what GoT was for 4 or 5 seasons though. But it's better than LOTR imho
