The Ending Of Hellboy Explained Josias: I saw the movie yesterday and the only thing I was disappointed in was the amount of people in the theater. There was almost no one there. I liked Hellboy 1 & 2 but I really enjoyed this movie. This movie was very fun and cheesy in a good way. What I liked the most was how lore heavy the movie was and the over the top gore and violence felt right in this movie considering the plot. I feel that its very easy to jump on the hate bandwagon for no reason. David was great as Hellboy!

It's not so much that the reboot is bad. it's just that the two Del Toro movies were epicly, fantasticly GOOD. The casting, costuming, & humor in those two were spot-on. We were waiting for the third movie in that trilogy, and instead we got an okay reboot. It's not unreasonable to think that if the reboot fails, we still might see a third Del Toro/Perlman film, given that Del Toro and the main three actors are all still interested in doing it.

So sad were probably not gonna get a sequel. I loved it, it has so many details and so much potential its just sad snowflake modern adults cant handle some cartoonish gore. The movie was truthful to the originals and the comic and even if the plot was a bit shaky I still think its a thousand times better than black panther it actually reminded me of Thor Ragnarok in the sense of how much of a pleasant and refreshing surprise it was to watch it

Enjoyed the heck out of this movie, yes I know it's a re-introduction to the franchise but it was good, I like the snarkier Hellboy, not soft spoken or touchy feely, he's a kick butt kinda guy with family tree issues.
It was fun and funny as well as bloody and so on, had me laughing and wanting to see more of everything the movie had to offer.
If there's a sequel I'll pay to see that as well, it was worth it.

Sensory overload? It's a movie, I know you're probably just jumping on the critic bandwagon but if you can't handle something like this maybe you should try for a different profession, and why is it that critics nowadays are so terrible at their jobs? if you don't like the genre of movie let somebody else review it, if you're terrible at games choose a different profession stop wasting our time with your nonsense

I liked the movie, Hellboy was the best part of it. Needed better supporting characters, In Del Toros version everyone liked Hellboy, this one everyone hated him, so he played more the victim then the rebel. Alot of CGI in this version. Definitely more demonic. I liked the love struggle of the first one, the Dad was also more likeable so it made the revenge murder that much more satisfying.

The movie was great! My only complain is Hellboys right hand, it looked faked af, and his skin color is paler than the previous movies, I liked the color tones on the previous movies, I thought the horns looked faked too. The makeup and prosthetics could have been better, other than than, it was really good, the other monsters and esp those from hell looked great!

The movie is underrated. Think it was a bad promo. We've just watched it and had a great time. It's cheesy in a good way. And it was surprising to watch Baba Yaga from Slavic mythology debuting in Hollywood movie lol. She's a real badass. But to be honest could be portrayed cuter she's not witch, she's ancient spirit that lives in the woods of Siberia.

i really, really, really liked this movie, sure, it has issues, some cgi are good, some are so bad, how can the tiger man have his clothes back to normal after ripping them? but man oh man, the giants scene, the scnes of london being smashed, it was like the anime scene from BLOOD C. and those post credits were fun, not as bad as people say, i enjoyed it.

Simply put, its not Hellboy 3. I was disappointed to find out it was a reboot with new cast & director. Its sad, this might not be a bad movie, its just the fact that a reboot wasn't wanted at this time. If this movie pops up on Netflix I may watch it, but I won't be paying good money for it at the cinema, only a Del Toro version would get me there.
