HBO Takes Immediate Action After Trump's GoT Tweet Jeremy: Bahahaha HBO is really gonna sue over word Fonts? Gtfo. Also people hate on Trump, but any Republican president will be disliked by a Democrat, it doesn't matter who it is and vice versa. George W. Bush got so much hate it was ridiculous by Democrats and so did Obama by Republicans they said he was the Anti Christ and people say Trump is Hitler, very very very exaggerated fear mongering BS propaganda from the media. Having two parties just divides the people and will damage the Country further down the line and people are so self righteous they think they are right and their views are the better instead of being open minded and tolerant enough to discuss these issues. This Country is a great Country and has potential to be better, but our people are so narrow minded smh.

Unless HBO has defended every case of such an act against Game of Thrones or any of their other property rights, they have no case. This is called reckless abandonment of IP. An organization that looks the other when one party uses their creation cannot suddenly cry foul when someone else does. In the former case, they are in alignment with the user and in the latter they are not. Law is not political, it is just. HBO has to justly defend its IP 100% of them time with the same vigor or risk losing in court when they object to a single instance.
In this case, HBO has no case. They have allowed various IPs to be used HBO was formed in the 1970's.

Yeah Trump is always copyrighting people. China has a wall I want to build a wall game of thrones is doing stuff I'm going to use their slogans not even going to bother coming up with my own. Pretty sure how Donald Trump got the idea for the wall was from Shrek if you remember and Shrek and donkey and Shrek her sitting on that plot of land donkey looks and go Shrek what are you going to do when you get your land back I'm going to build a big 10 ft wall over my land. Trump what's the first thing that you're going to do when you become president I'm going to try and build a wall over my land

If HBO were to take legal action against President Trump, then they would need to take legal actions against the thousands, if not millions, of meme pages and random people that have a GoT style font for other things also. If they didn't do so it would make it look as if they were just trying to make a political statement

Even republicans have to be able to see that we now have a president that no one wants to be associated with. Every president Ive been alive for before him was always seen as one of the most honorable men in the country. Invited everywhere! Trump has to invite himself. Then people are like HE WASNT INVITED!

But if we the people recreate the exact same memes and release them on the internet, will HBO do anything about it? No? Even if it is the President, it seems like a case of injustice if one person is punished while the other is not for committing the exact same action.

It's okay for GoT showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss to use trademark intellectual property to spike George Bush's severed head on a Lannisport battlement, though. Ha ha ha! Such a lark. Ha ha ha! What grand fun! ALL liberals are Master Projectors, it seems.

A important right wing politician in my country did the same thing. He is running to become prime minister and posted a picture of himself on the iron throne and text above him read: Bartje is comming!
(Bart is his name to be clear)

Funny how Donald Trump is using GoT text about building the wall, and yet the author George RR Martin lives in New Mexico. Now I know New Mexico is still in the United States (next to the border) but come on, really?

of course HBO would have a problem with a Republican President. don't forget they used W's head on a pike in a scene. I'm surprised they haven't had a Trump head on a pike or maybe a likeness burning in effigy.
