Lines In Endgame That Are More Important Than You Realized CG: I really believe this is the reason other cinematic universes have failed in comparison to Marvel. No one has shown the care and attention to detail that Marvel has with its films yet. Star Wars and Star Trek, for example, are two popular franchises that have really polarized their fanbase because the people creating the cinematic universe just don't seem to care about the established lore, and have opted to use just simple fan service gimmicks to satisfy the masses. Marvel did something here that is a first in cinematic history by interlinking all its movies and characters into a really detailed and cohesive storyline and overall plot while actually understanding and seemingly caring about the lore. That's never been done before on such a grand scale, and that's why fans have rewarded them with such unprecedented success. If you're trying to build a new universe around an established and loved franchise, this is the blueprint to do it. Not saying every franchise needs to be light-hearted, witty and clever with their characters and stories like Marvel has been, but just including sensible detailed stories that link everything together nicely is the thing fans really care about most. Pay attention to detail, and include easter eggs that make sense to the overall stories.

The thing is, that was the Hulk's timeline. The Ancient One existed in that timeline before Doctor Strange discovered his powers. In the clip from the movie Doctor Strange when she tells him no, that is a completely separate timeline where that version of the Ancient One has no knowledge of what's to come. I imagine the reason why the Ancient One found the Hulk to begin with wasn't because she knew she was meant to give him the stone, or else she wouldn't have put up a struggle in the beginning, perhaps she could sense something weird was going on with a ripple in time, but once Bruce explained everything to her is when she realized Doctor Strange Doctor Strange gave it up for a good reason. I mean she knew that doctor strange was to become who he is because she knew he was performing surgery and she knew that Bruce was 5 years too early, but didn't know that doctor strange gave the stone to Thanos in Bruce's timeline. It's like each person has their own individual timeline and once they start time traveling is when they start getting complicated as it separates your reality from the reality of everyone who has not time-traveled.

Take note of what the Ancient One said because that explains the time travel. Remember she is the guardian of the TIme Stone.
What most people seem to be forgetting is that there are the rules of quantum travel and then there is the time stone that has infinite (its called infinity stone for a reason) possibilities whether its pushing time through a person/object or putting someone in a time or putting them in the time period of their choice.
Thats why I dont understand why the ending didnt make sense for a lot of people. Steve could have literally put the time stone last and asked the Ancient One to bring him back to his time with Peggy or he could have gone the long way to do it (which I think he kind of did considering he also had a whole shield to give to Sam. Anyway, Im more inclined to believe the writers who claim that Steve was in the main timeline. They literally were responsible for the story including the background.
The directors just has to bring it to life visually.

The line from the the ancient one about Strange being supposed to be the best of them and the answer Strange later gives Tony is also a small, maybe more known, detail about the differences power level we have between the Avengers.
And it also indicates that no one, except Strange, actually made a choice that wasn't already settled. This also implies that Thanos never could have succeeded, without intervention from someone outside of this system, that could simply be called. fate.
This is an interesting concept to be introduced, as an almost unchangable fate becomes for some people a pillar of stability, but for others it bears the risk of becoming inactive, lose empathy. Without the idea to be able to change the result, a man getting himself a robo-suit and then venturing out to better the world makes no sense.

I know the Russo brothers commented directly on it, but I like my head cannon of Cap and the hammer more. I thought he was hinted at possibly being worthy some day by the little budge, but still couldn't lift it at that time as he still wasn't worthy of it. And only becomes worthy after he loses to Thanos and realizes his world view had been flawed. Only then after his Entire Arc learning all the lessons of being worthy, When to not fight, when to fight, when to sacrifice, was he worthy. The unspoken story arc was great for cap and Tony, those were my favorite things about the movies, showing not saying the connecting character development.

From everything comics fans could struggle with understanding, time line understanding is the one thing I think would be the easiest to understand.
Strange even say: If I tell you, it wont happen.
Everything has a way of happening to go to a given timeline. Even the terminator in Genesys gives a simple explanation for that.
The ancient one, knowing how to make something happen in all time line know that she has to throw Strange out so he adequately grows into the stronger of them, and that she does in all timelines for that end. Not so hard to understand I think, until I see all videos mentioning that is odd.

I love you 3000 was the line that broke me completely. It was so emotional that after exiting the theater, I went straight home and binged all 3 Ironman movies. In my mind, he was the best avenger and the secret leader of the entire team.
Also, Cap weilding Mjolnir was awesome, but the hammer itself doesn't have God of Thunder's powers. That power belongs to Thor exclusively, as Odin mentions in Ragnarok. So, Marvel partly killing the spirit of the movie for the sake of over-glorifying Cap in the name of Murica #1 was a bit of a let down.

2: 59 The ancient one throwing Dr. Strange out is not a contradiction, she threw him out to humble him & to get all his arrogance out of him & to accept that his not in control, it serves as a way to measure his resolve & it's also tactic to weed out the weak, the concept is nothing knew, it's been done before in many films like in fight club with the new recruits or with Mr. Miyagi in the karate kid or with Jaqen H'ghar & Arya Stark in Game of Thrones but I think it's best illustrated in oriental films though.

WAIT A MINUTE - MAJOR THEORY! They killed Thanos from the past - Using the stones - BEFORE he got the stones and did the snap! - Then VISION and LOKI aren't dead any longer - (and others) Because The past Thanos was killed before he ever got the stones in the first place - hence he never did the snap. Never got the first stone, Nor was he alive to fight in Infinity War. The Asgardians are still alive, The collector was never attacked, Eitri, and the Dwarven people were never attacked - etc.

Are people really overlooking the scene when Tony confronts strange about if this is the timeline where they win and ofcourse he doesnt tell him and when thor gets the stones and is about to snap his finger Tony delibrately looks at Strange as strange has one finger up and nods as the scene focuses on his finger and hence the whole snap tony does
this movie was just very beautifully adapted
