Stuff only Gen Wunners noticed. My first game was pokemon stadium back in 1998 and I really don't give 2 shits about corny nostalgic references and _real life pokemans_ just release gen 8 Nintendo. Enough with the garbage like _detective pikachu_ man do I ever hate Douchepool Reynolds.
edit: does the main protagonist get turned to stone by mewtwo? No? I was hoping Mewtwo would tear off his head with his PSI - Mewtwo IS the Savage pokemon after all. Oh yeah I forgot - 4kids entertainment.

A lot of these are in the trailers, really. And most are not that hard to miss. And hardly worth mentioning at all, too. what's so special about any of these? Well, except for the reference to Mewtwo. There's no reference to be gotten to Snorlax or Jigglypuff, these are just Pokemon doing what they do.
Maybe actually focus on more obscure references.

Speaking of Squirtle, maybe you haven't noticed that, by the end of the movie, a group of five Squirtle can be seen at the station. Four of them were looking at one who could be seen from the back, probably their leader.
I honestly thought those Squirtle were a clear references to the Squirtle we can see for the first time in the anime.

Lucy was talking to a blonde woman in a red jacket, she is wearing all black underneath. The blonde Reporter is called Cynthia
Cynthia is the Champion of the Sinnoh region.
Also i told my friend of a missed opportunity they could of had gengar fight Nidorino in the battle cage and the ending credits.

They missed the part after Charizard goes crazy from the R gas where Detective Pikachu kicks a Magikarp saying that it will make it evolve. This is a reference to when Jessie from Team Rocket kicks James's Magikarp into the sea after they all got away from being trapped on the SS Anne and it evolves into a Gyrados.

[Mild Spoilers] It might be a stretch, but I believe the Cubone in the opening scene was a nod towards the Cubone who's mother died in the game (or manga or show or whatever I remember it from. Tim's friend says it would be a perfect Pokemon for him which is kinda sad seeing how Tim's mom also died.

You're not a REAL Pokemon fan if you didn't notice Tim's shirts had Unown designs on them.
So if you were too busy watching the actual movie, you're not a true Pokemon fan. How dare you not notice something so obvious. I mean come on. It's not like it looks like a normal shirt design. Smh.

A true fan noticed the use of the same 14 ass pokemon in the background d through the whole movie. What does that city only have the select 10. like wow sneasel. aipom. growlithe. machamp. noticed that after the first half hour and it really killed the movie in my eyes.
