Tobey Maguire, while a good actor, wasn't suited because he was always a dweeb while Tom Holland just seems like an annoying little kid (and the new movies are terrible anyway, way too teeney-bopper focused for me.
Another guy who's awesome at doing the dual nerdy-sometimes-cool-other-times thing was Freddie Prince Jr. I know, sounds funny but he's honestly really good at it and, like Garfield, can pull it off in terms of both looks and personality.

We need a live action Spider-verse with Both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield with Tom holland so that both the earlier actors could get justice for their roles. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 4 was cancelled 4 days before it was gonna start production and fans still consider his trilogy as their favorite and Andrew loved being Spider-Man too much, he was a good actor just in trap of bad script. If Sony does decide to bring them back for a Spiderverse movie (given the success of the animated one), it's gonna be a million dollar movie guaranteed and a well needed Fan service.

The fact that he uses a board doesn't make him less nerdy. He spoke science throughout the movie. Acted science even in his swinging. Was socially awkward he was just good at what he did. All who dislike Andrews Spider-man find another reason cos he isn't nerdy does not hold. For me i think because he wasn't in the mcu that's y people dislike his version or he was handsome(It will surprise you that's the reason why people don't like him if u are paying attention). Finally Is Tony Stark a nerd? let me know you can google the definition of a nerd?

this video didnt get into any juicy conspiracy. i heard he pissed off sony execs cuz they wanted him to come out to do a promo, but he refused, and the execs were so offended they immediately laid him off. and i heard garfield was extremely regretful. when sony chooses u as spiderman, u do what they want when they want and how they want. lol. sucks to suck garfield

maybe it was the fact that I wasn't a loser when I was a kid or a teenager, but I love Andrew as a Peter Parker. I don't care what people say, I don't care what the super duper ultra die hard comic fans say. I was a little tired of seeing Peter as a freakin looser who can't catch a break. it was a nice to see a cool Peter Parker.

That's because their dialogs were not polished. He stutters a lot and most of the times He and Gwen just adlib their lines like they were having a casual conversation offcam. Compare their script with the Tobey spiderman, Tobey's movies were a lot more polished. He's the best one to wear the suit, I will give him that.

I'm finally coming around to this video! I thought I was the only one, despite the cancellation of this crappy series and reboot into Marvel. There are people who still like TASM films and Garfield's crappy portrayal of the character.
