Henry Cavill Reveals How He Really Feels About The Snyder Cut

Director Zack Snyder's 4-hour long cut of Justice League has finally seen the light of earth's yellow sun. When Snyder had to step away from the DC Extended Universe's all star team-up in 2016 after a tragedy in his family, Warner Bros. enlisted Avengers writer-director Joss Whedon to finish the film. Whedon's version of Justice League was not well received on release. It was panned critically and bombed at the box office. The reputation of Whedon himself has also soured among the eyes of many amid accusations that his Justice League reshoot set was, in the words of Cyborg actor Ray Fisher, gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. God: I like that the Snyder cut gave more detail to characters like flash and cyborg who were originally side characters unlike the Snyder cut which gave them more story and depth also steppenwolf looks like he s from apocalypse and not so human and we feel something when he s told by Desaad that he would need to counquer 50, 000 more worlds to even CONSIDER coming back home we feel his sadness and he s not just evil he s more fleshed out I should say. But it had actual story like it gave us a actual story on why steppenwolf is attacking earth and why darkseid wants earth aswell. This is canon for me

Truth is it s arguable I think the Snyder cut was dope only because it had a lil more background story and it made sense, 2017 version was bad only because there were no other movies, that bring together the plot honestly both movies good to me, Josh s version of JL could ve been better but it s hard to do a movie with no background, we only got Wonderwoman And man of steel, there was no Batman movie with Ben Aff. see now in marvel you got so many movies that leads up to Avengers which blew us all away, it s tough to do JL movie with no background movies that lead up to it. It sounds repetitive but it must heard, we should ve had solid solo movies before the team up at least from the Main members like flash, wonder man, green lantern, and Dark-side should ve been teased in man of steel if anything, it s the how they connect. This justice league movie was amazing longer but honestly feel as though they just had a lot of cool scenes the story it self wasn t boring but wasn t that great either, 4 hours and it still felt rushed, there was still more action, something about Batman just doesn t sit right wit me. that s not the Batman I know, he actually brings is a different tone, and vibe and this isn t cartoons but if Marvel can do it, DC can do it even better just because they have the icons of hero s in the line up, both great universes I just want to see dc bring it s universe more to life, Superman is it! Batman and Wondermen, I m a lil iffy about, I m just comment thats in love with the universe, I wanna see it greater

I bet you it's because WB wants a continuous DC cinematic universe (DCEU / WODC) and the problem with Snyder's vision is that it's too complex, and above all, promises an end. That last bit to them means they'll be earning less money than they wanted.
However, I'd argue the best stories are the ones where the ending is planned ahead of time. A Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings, the Infinity Saga, Harry Potter, The Good Place, His Dark Materials, Hunger Games, Stranger Things, The Dark Knight trilogy, The Old Guard trilogy, Legion, Young Justice, so forth.
The way I see it, Snyder knowing where he's going with the story also allows him to include more moving parts and help the DCEU/WODC feel more immersive and complex. And if he has envisioned the end of big characters like Superman and Batman, then I'd inform WB that they can keep the DCEU going without them, similar to how Iron Man and Captain America's roles ended with the Infinity Saga but the MCU is still going.
DC is larger than just the Justice League and there's a whole universe of characters they can explore. If WB wants a universe as large as the MCU, they need to match the scale and have a large cast of characters, not just six heroes.
Sorry that was so long.

I mean Warner Bros is being rather toxic about this at this point, they ve trampled all over the director s vision so they could have a movie that they think would sell the best, essentially compromising the entire heart and soul of the film so that they could sell a few more kids toys. And they rushed the film through post production when they knew it was incomplete and Henry Cavill s moustache wasn t properly cgi d out so they could collect their bonuses. It was all about money for them from the beginning.

If WB are still standing by the theatrical version of Justice League even after the massive boost in popularity to not only Snyder s version of the film but to the franchise as a whole due to this version releasing; they are clearly just sticking on a sinking ship.
If there was still anyone standing with 2017 s Justice League after it released like a dud, I think now with a film superior in every way finally being released, that film is going to be lost to time

A fantastic movie. The 2017 version under wheedon was woeful. Zack Snyder's version gives depth and fleshes out the characters and their choices. There are still some anomolies in the story. Mera's father is alive in Aquaman, yet she says he is dead in this movie. I wish they would fix these because it rankles. Other than that, the movie is satisfying. The digital work is exceptional and the music perfect. Well done to all involved.

It s definitely an improvement, better pace, connects to previous movies, more backstory, better villain.
Too bad they made this in the middle of Marvels peak! With Winter Soldier, Civil war, Thor Ragnarok and later Infinity and Endgame.
Bar was set too high from Marvel for DC to come close.
But definitely worth the 3+ plus hours.

After watching Zack s 10/10 Justice League there is no fn way I will watch a JarJar Abrams movie. He ruins everything he touches so he should fit in nicely at Warner Brothers. I hope his bs movie and Warner Brothers feel the wrath of fans.

WB CEO said that Zack won't get to make any justice league sequel and his trilogy is complete. They asked fans to be polite for the production house as dceu's fate is not going to change. They have already moved on from justice league.

This version is far superior, but they were never going to show a 4 hours movie in cinema for a blockbuster, 3 hrs tops like LOTR ones maybe. So it would still not be the same movie in 2017, had ZS not had to go.
