Also for some reason, there were three gender swaps in the roster. Instead of, I don't know, just ADDING the best known Eternal from the comics, that was an Avenger for quite some time?

While this might seem great on the surface, I have a feeling its going to be way to esoteric for the average movie goer. These characters arent just not as well known, hardly anyone outside of comic fans knows about them at all. I just dont see a celestial movie doing well as a date movie next to a Wonder Woman movie for instance.

Thanos & Starfox were introduced as greek gods by Starlin. Roger Stern changed it to Starfox being an Eternal in his Avengers run. They then had to backtrack & change things. For example: The original Captain Marvel issues say Thanos uncle is Zeus, but when they reprinted those issues in TPB form they changed it to Zuras

Only one thing to know. Don't bother. Gender swapped 3 ( yet no Cersi the Eternal who actually was an Avenger. Race swapped 3. Eliminated Zuras and retconned Salma Into the leader role. I will vote against Disney woke movies by keeping my wallet closed.

I find it hard to believe regular movie goers will be interested in these grand beings in movies since it will be less about the regular Marvel superheroes. Great storylines but seems less appealing for other than comic book fans.

I tried to get into the Eternals but they aren't very interesting as these people are making them out to be to people who just watch the movies. New gods that Kirby created over at DC are way more entertaining and original.

What we need to know about the Eternals is simple Disney is making it the woke level gender and race bending will be high the story plot and character development will take a back seat not worth the time or money
