way back in some discussion on a video after the force awakens, I had speculated wouldn't it be a surprise and turn of events if Rey somehow gives into the dark side. maybe even more than Kylo Ren.
I based this speculation after the first time Kylo and Rey do lightsaber battle at the end of the force awakens.
during the fight, she exhibited what looked like a surprising amount of rage. More aggression in her fighting style then I think I would have expected from her. Then again, her skills with a lightsaber using the first time was also quite skillful and surprising, also.
I suspect maybe the red light saber scene at end of new teaser could be some sort of dream sequence and could be like when Luke battles what looked like Vader on dagobah during his training with Yoda and saw himself after he seemingly killed Vader. if it is like that, then although we have not seen yet, rey might be fighting rey in some dream, spiritual or metaphysical way.
I think at this final stage and episode, it would not be a good idea to make such a sudden character change for Rey to truly turn to dark side, IF even she does.
So, I would not put too much stake on Rey really turning to dark side. too much of a left or u-turn for her character arc that has been directing seemingly towards light side for past 2 movies.

disney doesn't have the balls or creativity to put any compelling conflict into their work, and they definitively wouldn't change all the merchandising toys of rey from blue to red. It costs too much and their toys don't even sell enough to break even. Disney is pure AIDS.

It would be great if it is, as I would love it if it's possible. Though it's most likely just a mirror image she saw or random a vision. Also can't wait to see random empty ships being thrown against each other.

My suspicion is Rey is a clone who has been cloned and that would explain her existence and parents. I believe that also dark Rey is a clone. I mean it explains Daisy Ridley saying you cant have smoke with out fire.

Should of been the 8th episode but a couple who is both incompetent & lack any vision at anything & everything were in charge.
The 9th should of been redemption from failure as its main draw in/plot.

Episodes 4, 5, 6 were the best. The Prequels were blah and even though I will see Episode 9 I am glad this storyline will be done.
The one offs like Rogue One and Solo were very good.

Just a guess, but I believe Rey will encounter her Dark-side self and have to fight her. Kind of like when Luke when into the Dark-side cave and saw his face in Vader's helmet.
