it is not just like a saber maul wielded before she mkes it a staff it is just like the sword qi'ra used vs dryden voss in solo also. it supports my theory rey is qi'ra and han's secret child even han didnt know qi'ra ditched the child for a life she couldn't leave with crimson dawn and as mauls apprentice. this is a vision of rey seeing her face on her mom like when luke saw himself in vaders mask. this is qi'ra but with rey's face because we find out she is her mom and a dark side user and solo was her dad and ben her half brother making the force bond possible for snoke to unite their minds. in the same way luke and lea are mind linked.

Dark Side Rey is a vision too bad for people who wants something like dark side Rey and creative SW cannon we'll never sadly get a RPG like KOTOR 1&2 not the mmo SWTOR hell no never as well as thrawn trilogy and force unleashed 1&2 and battlefront 1&2 original Luke meeting a clone or the infinite empire story what they'll do in Disneys OldRepublic and the new KOTOR movie damn it why is not going to be near as good or creative as the original KOTOR era and even SWTOR era so yea it's not hard to believe that that was dark side Rey

You saying could be her evil twin sister would actually somewhat make sense to lead to Rey turning to the dark side. I mean think about it she has no idea who her family is and that's always bothered her, then the movie itself is called rise of a Skywalker maybe, just maybe, she meets her only family she knows of being her twin sister and chooses to go to the dark side to be beside her only family. Then as she's about to strike down Princess Leia, Kylo comes in and saves her since that's the only family he has left aswell.

I got it, I just thought of something! You know how Luke on Dagobah went into that Cave and confronted a Apparition of Darth Vader? The same thing could be happening to Rey, and Dark Rey appears to be inside the Death Star wreckage. This means Rey could be seeing a Dark Side Apparition of Herself!
