Always good to see videos about The Terminator films. Possibly my most favorite SciFi series. (A toss up between that and all the Alien flicks) Thanks for posting. I know a lot about the films, stars, and background info. But it never surprises me to learn new stuff. Fact is there's so much detail about the movies and the stars that I doubt I will ever know everything about all this.
Now there's an entire generation who don't know the interesting details about all things Terminator. So these videos are helpful. E. g, Linda Hamilton at the time was married to James Cameron. Linda Hamilton has been diagnosed bi-polar, which she admits destroyed her marriage to Cameron. E. g, Bill Paxton was in popular demand back then for doing sci fi movies. E. g, he was a co-star in Near Dark, a twist on the vampire genre, and in an Alien film.
In Near Dark another actor made it big in the horror and sci fi genre films, Lance Henriksen. He acted alongside Bill Paxton in Aliens, Alien 3, Alien vs. Predator, Near Dark, and in The Terminator he was a police detective. He also co-starred in Predator.
Yes, these franchises have been berry berry good for all these guys.

The Terminator ( #1 ) is my favorite movie. The logo Orion, at the films start, adds to the films beauty, in my opinion. ( The name Orion, against a starry blue background, fits perfectly with the subsequent film. )
I have never seen Amadeus. Thanks for your clips from this movie. They reinforced my view that I should never waste a second watching Amadeus.
Ill note that, after the success of The Terminator ( #1, Orion wasted years wrangling with others over a sequel to The Terminator. Orion was bent on getting as much money as possible from their stake in The Terminator.
Some films belong in the realm of the immortals. The Terminator ( #1 ) is one of those!

The truth is sarah conor imagined it all, she was tipped over the edge when a kid put an ice cream in her apron one day when working. After ingestion of some opiums she went to a nightclub with a friend and had a melt down. She then had a one night stand with a strangerbshe imagined was a hero fron the future.
She then broke into a factory and smashed it up on a mad one. She was found with a prostetic arm she had stolen in the nightclub from a poor unfortunate. She claimed it was an arm of a robot.
She ended up in a mental institute and never recovered, she often spouted crap about judgement day. She is clinically a lunatic

My senior year in high school, when this movie premiered, I was talking to a dear friend about it (she died shortly after graduation. She, like me, was a total sci-fi nerd and she said when the movie ended on the night she saw it, someone was hollering for a sequel. She told them, It's a TIME TRAVEL movie! You want a sequel? Watch it again! While I enjoyed the sequels, to me, none even compare to the original.

Kyle Reese was sent back in time by John Connor to protect his mother. while protecting her, Reese got her pregnant, with John.
In order for John to have existed, Reese would have already had to get Sarah pregnant, which he did, but how could John Connor exist to send him back in the first place, if by sending him back in time was how he came to be John's father?

Oh come on to me Dune was not a flop it was a very underrated film much Like the terminator I still have the original VHS. I said then how come no one is talking about this. I had to wait 20 fricken years for the second part. The tv series flopped they did not even finish the story. OK rant over lol

btw Terminator: Dark Fate is awful. It is as awful as all the Terminators movies that came after Terminator 2: The Judgment Day. It is shocking for me because I thought that when James Cameron is producing it, it wouldn't be bad, but unfortunately, it is. Sorry, James.

But perhaps the strangest star to pass on the role was Sting. umm, no, that would be Bruce Springsteen. At least Sting has acted before. And we wouldn't have been able to understand what he was saying. Springsteen? Mumble mumble, mmm, dddd, mumble.

I'm about to see Dark Fate. Review scores online aren't promising, but I'm hoping that's mostly because of the people angry about there being too many female cast members and not because the movie's actually bad.
