So, because of this, I think that Star Wars is in risc now. Because the most part of the franchises that their creators had abandoned had serious problems. Like Terminator, James Cameron, the creator of the franchise, made a fantastic work in the two first movies, but then he left the movies, and the franchise was killed in the other 4 movies that were released.

Il be honest. Even if Palpatine somehow did a soul transfer and hijacked another body, he wouldnt have been able to surrvive.
Not even if he mastered the skills of Darth Plagues with midiclorian manipulation.
THEN there is the case of him waiting all this time. WHY BOTHER?
You have this massive armada ready to launch, the first order would have obeyed him all the same. He could easily have won without wanting to take over another body or make Rey his heir. EVEN if he wanted her as an heir, he should have acted so much earlier.
(BEN Solo/Skywalker should have been the one to live. Killed Rey, the last palpatine as she went darkside, as sort of a redemption story for himself. RISE OF SKYWALKER.
Not the Death of the last Skywalker, Rise of another palpatine.

Rise of sky walker was pure ass juice, horrible screen writing, bad scene transitions ie normal conversations then to knee deep battles with no hand off, too many plot holes, terrible dialogue, plot twists that made no sense, Kylo and Rey stronger than any Jedi in existence as witnessed with force pull on the ship. Both have master level powers yet never completed mastery training. Rey suddenly has a new lightsaber from where? Palpatine still alive? No real explanation as to how and they never show Reys grandma/Palpatines baby mama nor Palpatines supposed son. This movie couldve been so great but it fell leagues short of anything That could be considered good. Best part of rise of sky walker is the CGI, everything else, the epitome of dumpster fire.

Here's my idea for a better ending for Episode 9
Rey, Kylo, and the Resistance/Rebellion are in a really bad state like they were in the movie. Palpatine continues to blast the ships with his force lightning, until he and Rey hear something. The Force Ghosts of Luke, Obi Wan, Yoda, and many other Jedi appear, including Anakin. Anakin comes over to Rey, and Rey gets up. Palpatine tries to blast Rey with his lightning, but Anakin's ghost gets infront of her and shields her from the lightning. Anakin keeps getting closer to Palpatine and then he blasts the lightning back onto Palpatine, killing him. The rest can play out the same, but maybe have Kylo show up as a Force ghost with Anakin at the end with Leia and Luke. That's my idea.

You have to remember when Lucas wrote these outlines Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford were younger. By the time the seventh film was being done, all the actors were already in their 60s - and Lucas had no intention of ever filming the last three films. The only reason they were made because he sold his company to Disney so they would be made but in doing so, it was pretty much too late to follow that original outline. Carrie Fisher's death just confirms that the change was the right choice as the old story would have never made it to the finish line.

STAR WARS IS FOR KIDS! kids loved the prequels (kids LOVED jar jar) and kids loved the original trilogy.
and plot of the prequels may be different, but this is how the story goes. this is how darth vader was created.
people would have loved the lucas' star wars version because its his vision. its in-synced with the previous movies he himself wrote and directed.
but anyway, he is retired and probably too old to make more movies, writing and directing a big movie is very stressful. MAYBE he would have overseen the project.

Ah yes a sequal trilogy exploring the force with no to little combat and most likely no designs from disney sequels, sounds fun. I enjoyed the designs maded by Disney. The first order seemed rather fleshed out bg ut used improperly. The sith eternal would have been a great faction as well but if they are erasing the sequels then im not gonna watch the new sequels. I feel theyll fight mainly pirates at best while they explore the force and there wont be any sith

They just wanted to make a final movie to collect some revenue and then head out and piss on fans really. Wait how exactly are we going to end this? Well we'll just say Palpatine is still alive and he is the final boss, again. It must of been bring your kid to work day and have them do your work or some sht.

I love the idea Palpatine returning. He was the main villain in both the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy. And I consider him the main villain of the original trilogy because he was mentioned in a new hope and he gave orders to Darth Vader in both the empire strikes back and return of the Jedi. And hes Vaders Master and he was the leader of the galactic empire and he was the Dark Lord of The Sith.

Lucas only sold it to Disney bcuz people hate on Star Wars even though its great. Loved 1-6 no reason to hate on those movies. Now we stuck with 7-9 which could of been SOO much more. Example: theres no skywalkers in RISE OF SKYWALKER tf? Could of added a force ghost of anakin. Anakin was the chosen one.
