The Biggest Box Office Bombs Of The Last Decade Gary: I've watched half of your video, and I assure you I'll finish. The three films you've described to this point: Cowboys & A's, Monster Trucks and one more that I already can't remember (sorry, are admittedly, like you mention: huge budget. But, they all have TERRIBLE scripts. This might not be the reality - could be a bad edit, a mis-Direction. But, it the blame always, unfortunately lands on the script. That is why they failed. Sometimes bad script with good direction (effects) can win over, but, if you want to last in an ever changing world, the writing is key! Apologies to argue - love to debate. x

One of the biggest issues with Ender's Game was the exploration of Ender was lacking. They pretty much abandoned his backstory, which is a serious part of the book.
Another was the fact that somehow, they managed to make the Zero-G training ground boring and uninteresting. I had a vision of it. this wasn't not only not it, it wasn't even close. Again -- very little of the book was captured here, they seemed to figure that having a few random irrelevant scenes in it was sufficient.

Westerns never make a lot of money, so cowboys and aliens was hardly ever going to be a blockbuster. And Star Wars is such a huge marquee, such large expectations. And when you let medeocre people like JJ Abrahms and Rian Johnson do whatever they want like shoving in current political nonsense, it no longer fits the large timeless galaxy tale that the originals were.

I would argue that Dark Phoenix was a huge flop. It was the second attempt at an intriguing and beloved story line. And for a second time, it was a huge disappointment. I know we were bracing for impact on that because of the poor test screenings and the expectations of laying an egg, but that does not change my view of it being a flop.

I thought Lone Ranger was a huge bust due to poor ticket sales and plans for more movies. The Mummy with Tom Cruise was also a really big flop that had plans to have a string of movies made kind of like the MCU and now look to be scraped.

Personally, i liked the first 2 Fantastic 4 movies and have watched Cowboys and Aliens half a dozen times. Geostorm was interesting. Justice League was another comic book heroes movie, it's job is to entertain and it does so.

Before I watch this video, my guess is Cats is going to be on the list, just for more capitalization to talk about it. (I don't have problem with that)
Ps if it doesn't, whatever then

You forgot to say for the GOOD DINOSAUR segment that they also show us vehicles that can drive before Ford vs Ferrari and Fast and the Furious would become bigs hits

I love 47 ronin and it had its problems. I do agree they should have not have added fantasy elements and made it into 18th century japanese john wick action.

I liked Enders Game, Cowboys and Aliens and 47 Ronin I also like Justice league but I think it made the movie already bogged down by Batman Vs Superman
