Palpatine had a close friend in the republic senate that in the comics used midiclorians to give herself palpatine child. This would be reys father. I hate to bring up midiclorians but the recent Star Wars releases are confirming a lot of the expanding universe like the bad batch and echo in clone wars and this is probably what they were leaning to.

Should make sure sources are used instead of speculation. the novelization explains the entire palpatine/son scenerio(failed clone. and your whole spice take is incomplete.

I liked the Rise of Skywalker, expect for the part when Rey stole the skywalker name, but other then that it was the best movie of the sequels, or the only good one

Palpatine created Anakin through the force and that's why Anakin didn't have a father so Palpatine probably did something similar to make Rey's parents.
