I trust the critics, but not the audience. The movie isn't even out, and people are hating on it. Just because Liu ( The actress that plays Mulan) supports the HK police, and people are triggered. The 3 million+ critics that reviewed the movie on facebook gave it 4/5.
I REPEAT 3 MILLION+! And the people saying that the movie is nothing like the animated. Um yeah it isn't, because it isn't based
on the animated its based on the true story. calm down peeps.

This movie is going to be so much better than the original. The original movie is boring. Very little action and very slow movie leading up to hardly anything. This movie has a ton of action and it will be gold. Anyone that's assuming that this will be bad is a hypocrite. Like what do y'all expect? You keep complaining about this and about that for live actions and nothing's ever good enough for you

I'm gonna watch of curiosity that it gone pleasure me, sure it's not same as the animated there lots of things that not come in like Muchoo etc and the story is different in most parts.
But I give it a change of the movie gone surprise me.
If I don't watch I should never knows.

Its good to see that the filmmakers arent making a direct adaptation of the original animated film, but are relying far more on the legend of Mulan from ancient China. I dont mind that there are none of the songs or Mushu; I like them anyway but the change is welcome to me

Im only going to see it so I can more effectively shit on it. If it doesnt have the Be a Man song and the epic transformation montage when she cuts her hair, then its going to suck ass! I dont need this movie to empower me when I have the 90s version.

Omg enough with Mushu and the old songs missing! Christ, this follows the original version and not the animated one! Oh and even if it didnt follow the original, who cares! Disney can do whatever they want. This looks amazing.

I'm jealous of the critics who saw these advanced screenings while the rest of us may not see these movies for months or another year! At least their movie season isn't ruined by the dang coronavirus.
