Movies That Already Bombed In 2020 daiyoukai01: 4: 48 Ok. I might agree with CGI animals, specially for rough stories with difficult/dangerous scenes (just like The call of the wild, though I don't know how much Disney might have softened this story, BUT we still need an excellent CGI so that kind of movies work (maybe a Lion King quality would do, but I understand it might be still quite expensive to use it everywhere. Maybe producers just have to send this adaptation right to Disney+.

My 2020 viewings in theaters: Uncut Gems, Parasite, 1917, Bad Boys for Life, Jumanji: the Next Level, The Invisible Man, and The Hunt.
The movies I plan to see in theaters if/when things go back to normal (in random order): In the Heights, Tenet, Antebellum, Promising Young Woman, A Quiet Place 2, The Lovebirds, The French Dispatch and The Woman in the Window. But if any of these movies show up on VOD, I will go that route.

I'm really not big on family friendly movies but just trust me on this, Onward was literally one of the best movies I've seen in years. I can't blame anyone for avoiding the theaters right now but I'd say Onward is easily gonna be top 5 movies of the year and is an instant classic. I'm definitely going to buy it when it comes out on blu ray.

UnderWater let's see here Kristen Stewart's SACRIFICE was for NOTHING she was trying to save her last two co-workers so they could Escape in a pod but they needed to be in a deacon pression chamber 1 weeks to 2 weeks so therefore when they got to the surface they were going to be dead ANYWAY. PLOT HOLE

- In 2020 people will not go to the cinemas
They will go to the supermarket to buy food to store and when they return they will go to a gun store to buy one to protect the food they have bought.

Underwater and undercooked.
Dolittle to make a great film.
The Turning away from me.
The Rhythm DISsection.
The Call of the Wild (add to missed phone calls.
Coronavirus: The Movie.

Dolittle with Robert Downey Jr was actually not bad, a lot better than the Eddie Murphy one in my opinion. However I prefer and still say the Rex Harrison Dr. Dolittle is a hell of a lot more better.

To be honest I dont bother going to a cinema anymore due to cost. I think that has a lot to do with it.
And people are sick of their political rants on awards shows.

Corona killed cinema this year, most of these films have not been shown in germany so far, and not in other countries either, so they only bombed in america.
reply

Pretty sure even if the movie was amazing, great acting and CGI, music and great plot, it would still relatively flop due to corona raiding everywhere
