I'm having the pleasure of watching The Office for the FIRST TIME rn, I'm in complete love with the show, such perfection so far, I'm in season 5 ep 18, I gotta say sometimes the cringe is SO MUCH that I can't even look at it, but that's me I'm a bit sensitive to cringe induce things.

THIS IS THE TRUTH after I finished watching The Office i tried watching Friends cause people were saying its the best sitcom ever and honestly I HATED it. I just belived Friends to be something Like The Office but it never could be.

Cringe-worthy is exactly how I felt watching Scotts Tots. and it was awesome! The only tv character that made me cringe as much before the Office came around was George Castanza on Seinfeld.

If you're going to talk about how The Office changed TV. You have to talk about the original UK version properly. You can't just gloss over it and then go straight onto the American remake.

Seems that everything you credit to the US Office as being groundbreaking are actually straight from the original Office. So how did the US Office change TV? You dont make that case.

Funny, I was just re-watching the office as well. I definitely noticed that since season 4 the amount and intensity of cringe comedy is ramped up.
