They spent a lot of time talking about the mask and I wished they would have talked about the mask switch. When Lechter is first packed up to travel, he has on a wire mask they smashes his nose down. In the next scene in Memphis, he has the iconic mask on. The first mask was a bad choice and I wish they had re-shot the scene. Anyway, would have been nice if the video covered that.

One of the best movies of all time. The subject matter is really dark. But to me the story is as much about a fledging FBI agent finishing her training & going out on her 1st mission. That's the most interesting aspect of it for me. & Great acting. As good as it gets.

I thought the Clarice Starling role was written as a man but once Foster tried out for it they rewrote it for a woman? I definitely could be wrong but I am wondering how all of those women wouldve been considered. Just curious. Great video

If you have read the books, you'll know the author is truly bizarre. In the book, Clarice becomes romantically involved with Lecter and joins him in eating human flesh fresh from a still-living person.

I should have known there was going to be a spin off show about Clarice. Theres been a spin off movie/show about every other popular female protagonist in the last decade or so.
