You guys have to understand that this film was made on an extremely low budget even for an Indie film. GIVEN that the film was made with such small budget and small crew, its impressive to say the least. People are way too impatient these days wanting imediate action. That doesnt make a good movie though. DO NOT go into this expecting some Independance Day action its more like Signs tbh. The scenes that moved through the town close to the ground were filmed on a kid's GOLF CART! This is a really inspiring film for aspiring filmmakers like myself and I think if you are patient with this movie, you will enjoy yourself just like I did. The dialouge is so real and kept me in it the whole runtime. Cannot wait to see what this guy does next! please give this one a try you really cannot go wrong.

Unlike most people here I really enjoyed this film. I thought the acting, directing, and camera work were exceptional, with a really well written script that understands suspense. Guess everyone wants the Micheal Bay 10, 000 explosions and 100, 000 bullets and 1, 000, 000 lasers version.

I watched it based on this recommendation - what a waste of time!
It's boring like hell. And when they included the identity politics BS I knew that I should not expect it to get any more interesting.
Re-watch some X-File episodes instead - those were really cool.

I knew about the vast of the night before it hit amazon and watch it first night. I love it, one of the best sci-fi movies in a long time. just love the way its filmed, the acting and the story.

Loved the characters, the settings and the story right up to the end. Excellent except for actually trying to show what was in the sky. Should have left it a mystery. 9. 5 out of 10

It's actually pretty bad. Acting and writing were good, but execution was terrible. Think of the same hype around Blair Witch and The Florida Project. Don't bother with this.
