The Jesse Plot Detail From Breaking Bad That Still Bothers Us Rebecca: I disagree. Its Not far fetched AT ALL that it hit him when it did. Its smart and shows a great mind for abstract thinking and reasoning (which Jesse always had, but not far fetched at all. Heres why: If you all remember, Jesse had originally accused Walt of the poisoning when the ricin first went missing. But Walt manipulated him and his thinking to use him against Fring. But then right before he leaves, Walt again tries to manipulate his thinking to get him to leave. And Jesse tells Walt that hes tired of being manipulated by him and that if Walt wants him to do him a favor, just be straightforward and ask. So manipulation by Walt is in the forefront of his consciousness right then. But its only after he gets pickpocketed for the second time, by the same people in the same place where he originally was pickpocketed and where he suspected to have been pickpocketed originally, that he goes back to his original assumption and belief that Walt had poisoned Brock as a manipulation and to use him against Fring. That it WAS Huel, Sal an Walt all along that conspired it in the first place. And its because of those things all together that he becomes convinced that it was Walt. When you look at it like that its very plausible that it would click into place for him. It Makes perfect sense. Had Walt not manipulated him to leave and then right faster that had they not lifted his joint right before he went with the vac guy, none of the rest would have happened. Also, Hank, Gomey, and Andria would still be alive, and Jesse would have never been held and tortured. Its actually brilliantly written; because it perfectly illustrates real life in that one small decision can sometimes change the course of your entire life. That One joint ultimately led to 3 people losing their lives and nearly cost the life (as well as the heart, mind and soul) of the character Jesse Pinkman as well. I know all to well from hard learned experience how a single small act can alter the course of your entire life even though when youre young you dont always think about the long term effects of your choices. But I taught my kids that from day one. And Im proud to say theyve made and make great and thoughtful choices because of the lessons Ive taught them from my own experiences. Lessons I taught them so they wouldnt have to learn the hard way. Like I did.

I had never watched the show when it was on tv. My boyfriend at the time had DVDs of it and would tell me all the time about it. When my son finally got Netflix, I was able to binge watch it and was hooked. I havent seen El Camino or Better Call Saul. My son got into the Saul videos and tried to get me into them but I just didnt want to watch a show without Jessie or Walter. I guess Im gonna check out El Camino because I really liked the Jessie character. Can anyone tell me if they really enjoyed watching El Camino?

I just wanted to say I did not find this confusing. I reached the same conclusion just as jesse had. If so many people get confused by solid, straightforward story telling, maybe it's time to turn off the tv and start reading some books. The only thing that bothered me about it was how much effort walt put in to pulling off his manipulation scheme with out any sure fire way it would be successful.

How didn't it make sense. Yeah he thought/knew Walt did it at first but was convinced by Walt that one of Gus's guys took it off him at the laundry or on one of the many jobs he did for him. Then when he saw his weed was lifted off him by Hule and as he's holding his cigeretts he put it together. How is that not believable or not make sense?

It is not hard to follow at all. He wants to believe Walt is his friend but I think he always knew. I think the culmination of everything led him to finally accept it after confirming Huell lifted his weed there is zero doubt they lifted the Ricin cigarette. That was what causes him to try and burn Walt down versus just trying to escape.

The biggest plot point in Breaking Bad, to me, is how Walt was able to get Andrea's son to eat the Lilly of the Valley. I mean, c'mon, watch that episode where he goes to their house. he's barely there a few minutes, and gets nowhere near the kid.

It goes to show you how manipulating Walt is. Even when you think you know the truth but you don't know all of it cause of Walt's meticulous manipulation and desire to cover his tracks. Amazing story telling, I love and understand it completley

This is not a bothersome plot point. It was beautifully set up and executed. Very realistic and true to the traits of the main characters (Jesses impulsivity etc)

The scene never bothered me. After watching Better Call Saul, it doesn't make sense that Saul asked Huell to steal Jesse's marijuana. Saul is way too smart to slip up.

That was the weakest story line from BB but one cant complain as the show was great with only one or two filler episodes (the fly episode comes to mind.
