What happened was they tried to make it a woke Sappho reboot. and then woke crap started taking over movies and TV. It was no surprised it was shelved, and in retrospect, Lucy Lawless with her saying things even her husband who created the show never wrote into the show were true. the reboot was going to end up like _Batwoman_ has. at best renewed not because of good ratings, but because the pandering blinded them to reality. Woke is ruining genre entertainment just like it ruined most comedy till the rise of things like red pilling.

I'd love another Xena, not as a remake but maybe a cartoon, or as a continuation with her sort of mentoring someone new ala batman beyond style. I'd love for this generation of girls to grow up seeing her like I did.
