I loved this series as a kid. I remember that when the show was on the streets were empty because all the kids were at home watching it. 1982 Pontiac Trans Am is still my dream car, I love the design and it looks so cool with black paint. I was eagerly waiting for a good and modern movie version which seems stuck in development hell for almost two decades. But after Fast & Furious franchise become more and more ridiculous with car stunts at every sequel at this point I think a Knight Rider movie chance died. Audience get used to all kinds of absurd car stunts because of F&F franchise by now. I don't think KITT would impress today's audience with car stunts. But if a very good A. I. and vigilantism story set around a futuristic car can be written it might have a chance.

I saw the 08-09 seasons of the reboot and I thought that it could work they need to get that on DVD it s sad that the original only lasted 4 seasons and only 2 fights with both cars I m surprised that they haven t tried to reboot air wolf I saw the series on Netflix once we are able to fight and race in VR I know that a lot of people will try to get the trans am and trick it out to look like KITT and KARR

You missed Bonnie who was the mechanic for all seasons except the second. After she was recast there was an uproar and they brought her back for season 3.
