There is a brilliant way Disney can do Black Panther 2 without recasting T'Challa( BlackPanther) and thereby retiring the character T'Challa as tribute and respect to the actor Chadwick Boseman. TChaka's and Ramonda's daughter is Shuri and TChaka's and N'Nami's son is T'Challa(current BlackPanther. There is another son of TChaka who is the youngest brother to TChalla named T'Chaha. T'Chaha is so young and went to Europe for his research. He is so brilliant in Mathematics and Quantum Computing. TChalla dies by poisoning of Panther Heart shaped Herb by an unknown Villain which weakens him and had severe injuries in the battle. TChala dies with his head on his sisters nap and compelling her to give him a promise to help the world by sharing Wakanda technology as he did at the end of the first BlackPanther film and to help TChaha to be next BlackPanther. The whole Wakanda kingdom and world mourns for him. His brother TChaha will came back from Europe who is so young and is not interested in being the next King. He mourns for his brother and he told Shuri that he will not replace his brother as he considers himself not eligible the have the throne of Black Panther. The enemy behind TChala 's death will attack Wakanda and the Kingdom needs a King to believe and to give then hope. Shuri convinces TChaha to be the King by moulding him, sharing him the ways of BlackPanther and teaching him to be as honorable as his brother and father. Shuri becomes his mentor. The film ends by TChaha becoming the next King of Wakanda and the next Black Panther. The movie will be a tribute to TChalla and Chadwick Boseman.

We are fans of Chadwick Boseman and the work he did on the films he was a part of, but none of us actually knew him as an individual. We know he portrayed T'Challa in a way that made him beloved for that character above all of his other roles. I say that he could not have played that role so well if there was not a lot of who the character of T'Challa was in Chadwick himself and because of that I say he would not want T'Challa just tossed aside because he, Chadwick Boseman, as the actor who played the character has regrettably passed from this life way too early. I am not against Shuri stepping up as the Black Panther, but that can't realistically happen until the third film as there is NO reason for it to happen now as there is absolutely no set up for any reason whatsoever for her to do it in the second film. If it is only for Blank Panther II they should recast the role of T Challa and do the film and then they can write in that for some reason he has to step down and Shuri takes over at the end of the film setting up the third film for Shuri to be Black Panther.

I think Chadwick would want the character of T Challa to continue and to grow in more films, I feel like those would be his words. As much as it would make fans angry to see another actor up there stepping into Chadwick s shoes, I feel like it s the right call as suddenly making Shuri Black Panther and writing out T Challa completely would be abrupt and wrong.
The first person I thought of, once the shock of this tragic passing settled down a bit, was John David Washington. I pictured him as T Challa and while it would be different take on the character, I think he would be the one actor that could embody Chadwick s Panther s physicality and genuine heart but not copying what was done before out of respect.

R. I. P. Chadwick Boseman I loved his portrayal of the black panther, but I would love to see his character recasted so we can have a black panther sequel and see T'Challa's character develop in the MCU. I hope that disney will find another great actor to repalce Boseman, I want T'Challas character to live on for many years and give him a proper arc as Iron Man. I think a petition to make Shuri the next black panther is ridiculous and wouldn't make sense. There are a handful of talented actors who could continue Bosemans legacy, John David Washington and Trevante Rhodes in my opinion are two great actors who could play the roll.

Some public people's death just moves you much more and harder than you would even imagine they could or would. . partly because you could not imagine their death in the first place but also because you just realized all that amazing stuff everyone in the world now missed out on, for decades to come, that would have been Chadwick Boseman's future. which is no more

i don't feel the recasting, his face is too much remembered throughout the films, he's the major player, unlike mark ruffalo, hulk story only continued as a subplot throughout the whole mcu, however we only watched black panther recently, i think recasting is not a smart move either way shuri or reviving Michael b jordan I'm good whichever route they take

I still think you can have a male black panther character (that won't be a stand in character for Tc'challa) could also make Suri Princess but not Black Panther, its similar to the set up in Civil War where T'challas dad was King but he was Black Panther. Either way I know Disney and Marvel will do a good job in honoring Chadwick.

Considering how important his role was in the MCU I don t see how you could not recast and finish off a trilogy then maybe his sister can take over then. I don t see that as disrespect but someone continuing his work OUT OF respect. It would more disrespectful in my eyes to just write the important character out.
