A black day here in Fountainbridge where Connery grew up.
There are many ladies of a certain age in Edinburgh who tell of going out with Sir Sean at least once - and I believe them all. He was a busy boy.
He played football for Bonnyrigg Rose and was supposedly being scouted by Manchester Utd but I think he chose the right career though he might have been one of the Busby Babes. But Munich, you never know?
Back in the the 80's I was going to a party with a pal that was being co hosted by a girl I really fancied. We'd had a few drinks, quite a few in fact and had stopped to get a Chinese takeaway and were standing outside scoffing it when we got into conversation with this older guy and I caught a glimpse of his face, illuminated by the light from the takeaway. I then asked the guy has anyone ever told you that you look dead like Sean Connery? He replied well I should do, I'm his brother.
We told him we were going to a party and did he want to come and he said yes. Now I don't know if walking into the party with Neil Connery impressed the girl I fancied but a couple of years later she became my wife.
I can only but thank the Connery family for this turn of events.

Correction. The Scottish National Party seeks to sever the political union. To become a republic, it would need to have a separate referendum for that as the union of the crown is a separate issue. Indeed the term United Kingdom would be still a valid one after political independence was achieved. Lastly Queen Elizabeth is the queen of Great Britain which consists of Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England, she is not the queen solely of England alone!

Not just loved for being the first James Bond but Indiana jones's father and so many other spy and action films and everyone gets caught up on twitter calling him a 'ist and trampling on him not a few days after he died AT 90! I'd like to those twitter puritans live that long? Damn cesspool and A Bunch Of Cowards! They probably didn't think of saying it to his actual Face. junkpile turds

Man hasn't been dead 24hrs yet and already there's videos about his life. I know these kinda videos are inevitable when a famous person dies but come on. he hasn't even had his funeral yet. Sean was a legend and he will be missed by people in every generation that watched his films but most of all missed by his family and friends who knew him personally.

I find videos like this pretty disrespectful. Yeah, no doubt videos like these will be made after a famous persons death but he hasn't even been dead for 24 hours and already this stuff is up. It looks like you're just doing it for the views and money, not out of any kind of respect for the man.
