The Bizarre Clause Sean Connery Reportedly Demanded In His Contracts

The late Sir Sean Connery will no doubt be remembered first and foremost for being the man who originated the role of James Bond on the big screen. But prior to his retirement from acting in 2006, he starred in numerous iconic action films. Aside from the James Bond movies, Connery also appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Highlander, and The Rock - all of which include explosive scenes. That seems totally natural since they're all action movies, but in a 2009 Total Film interview, comic book writer Alan Moore alleged that some of the scenes featuring explosions in Connery projects were actually a result of a bizarre clause in the actor's contract.

An icon who will live on for generations to come through his many contributions to film over so mny years. He is one of the rare few of movie stars where it didnt matter what the film was about, all you needed to know was that he was in a film & that's all the motivation you needed to invest a couple hours of your time & the cost of a movie ticket to wanna go see it. His mere presence & connection to his films was a guarantee your time &. money spent to see it was a good investment of both.
After hearing some of the crazy, diva demands from present celebrities like the likes of Mariah Carey & JLO who in my opinion dont even come close in comparison to Sean Connery's level of talent seem a lot more ridiculous than having the size of an explosion gradually get bigger with each film stipulated in his contract. IMO he could of asked for it to be 3 times as big & it still would of been more than worth it.
Rest in Peace, Mr Connery. Thank you for All your iconic roles throughout the years. You've earned all the accolades you ve been given & will continue to receive in the future.

I really enjoyed League of Extraordinary Gentleman. I thought it really played well as an ensemble movie of Literary Legendary Heroes. and villains. It had a good script, good actors, and very decent special effects for the time (especially when it came to Hyde. I think it would have been nice to have seen a follow-up movie following this bold movie premise.

Maybe next time wait like say a month or so before you make a video about a man who has passed. And don t make it about rumors just talk about his list of accomplishments. Was it to hard for you guys to honor the man. And even if the rumors are true. You don t make a video about it the day after he passes. Bad form looper

Why are y all acting SOOO offended on behalf of Sean Connery because they did an interest video on someone who people are thinking about right now and remembering right now? Sean Connery was a real man and wouldn t want his fans to be so offended so easily

His last movie was NOT League! He did the voice for the main character in the animated turd Sir Billy (aka Guardian of the Highlands I think, in the States) a 2012 Scottish CG film.

So Sir Sean Connery was awesome, and wanted bigger more awesome explosions? The greatest James Bond that will ever exist deserved big explosions at the very least.

just in bad taste
the man just died and his family is mourning
why not make a top 10 of great roles instead of some paparazzi style garbage

No matter how great an actor you are, someone will always sling some mud! Shame on them, Connery is and forever will be a legend.
