Beginning as a standalone film in 1994, Stargate spawned a slew of TV series and spin-off movies. Since the franchise spans decades, there have been quite a few cast changes over the years. We're here to let you in on the real reasons why these actors left the Stargate franchise. In the original film, we all remember how Kurt Russell played Colonel Jack O'Neill, while James Spader played Dr. Daniel Jackson. Though the iconic duo were perfect for their roles, neither of them went on to act in the spin-off series SG-1 -- where O'Neill is played by MacGyver vet Richard Dean Anderson, and Jackson is played by Michael Shanks. What could have caused Russell and Spader to jump ship after the original film's success? Honodle: Always was a fan of the franchise. One weakness: I don't recall any plausible reason being put forth as to why everyone on all worlds traveled to spoke English. They could have hypothesized that traveling thru the gate somehow changed you in some mysterious way and enabled understanding of alien speech.

Firstly, they really needed to watch the show first because they mispronounced Sha uri (Daniel s dead wife.
Secondly, isn t this was an reupload?
The only original cast members from the movie that also ventured into the TV shows to play their movie counterpart is would be Alexis Cruz (Ska ara) and Erick Avari (Kasuf.
The only other person from the movie is Richard Kind but he appeared in Stargate Atlantis and played a different character instead.

I do have to say that James Spader did eventually go to TV in the show The Blacklist, so your a bit off on your research.
