1: 19 no, this is not what she said or what she suggested. what she suggested was that the rejection of civilized discourse, and the dehumanization of people who have a different political opinion from your own is a slippery slope that could eventually lead to radicalizing the population, and neighbors seeing each others as monsters and beating each other up in the street because of their difference in political views, and even further give political extremists a platform on which to gain power and influence.
she compared it to the situation that lead up to the holocaust, because of the similarity in how people back then were dehumanized by their own neighbors, which then lead to hounding them in the streets, and gave breeding ground for political extemists (in this case nazis) to gain power. if were not careful this kind of group thinking can lead to the worst possible outcomes we can imagine.
ironically by letting their actions be dicated by emotions and forming a social media mob to silence her and get her fired, and then celebrating over the fact that they were successful, these people literally made her point and showed how dangerous this kind of group thinking is. instead of engaging in a civilized discussion about the matter, people formed together in a cancel culture mob, spread misinformation, and tried to actively censor and cause her personal harm and attack the person herself instead of challenging her argument.

Disney has always been super-sensitive about their image. long before social media. and, if she had any brains, she would have known better. Dating way back the 1960's, Walt Disney himself worried that the encroaching suburbs of Anaheim around Disneyland were ruining the fantasy of the park experience. That sensitivity gave birth to the idea of Disneyworld in the middle of nowhere (central Florida. a sensitivity that is very much alive today. No, it is not about cancel culture.

Wow! I actually liked her but those views about the Holocaust are not good and being a part of a U. S. party. Spreading lies and miss-information to those who follow you. Spreading BS is also wrong especially when it s a label of BS. Grow up carano. Be you, not a sheep. Cancel culture is not an excuse.

From what I'm seeing on this, she shot herself in the foot. You can have your opinions but there are certain lines you shouldn't cross. When you work for any company they likely have certain standards on how their employees represent themselves to the company they work for.
