I remember watching treacly previews for Love Actually for months at the theater.
It looked unwatchable despite a great cast. But lo and behold RT s score was 94% when it opened.
So I gave it a chance. It was fantastic; I had RT to thank for seeing it in a theater.
That was in 2003. Today LA s score is 64% why? Because the site is a shill for paid-off critics promoting recent films.
The Audience Scores are often much closer to the truth, but not always.

Nobody takes professional critics seriously. I only look on RT for the audience score and if the clown score is low then I know it s gonna be a good film.

I don t listen to anybody I go off my own opinion. I said this back when Transformers 4 came out and I ll gladly say it again screw rotten tomatoes.

Rotten Tomato critic scores are a joke. Reviews are often over-bloated and pretentious. Hocus Pocus doesn't need to be Shakespeare.

The critics of today don't know a good movie if it hit them in the face. Some of the ones they said were bad, I thought were good.
