Wait. .. Dr Strange was lukewarm? I mean, it wasn't my cup of tea but I thought everyone else appreciated it more.
That being said, I still do have an appreciation for the film considering it was written to take place before no way home and thus setup strange's motives for no way home. Alone, I don't like the film, but how it was originally supposed to compliment the film I did like. .. I think it was a good 2 part event. .. until release dates got swapped around where disney forced them to no longer make it a 2 part event. Rather than just have it be a prequal like it should have been, there were minor reshoots done specifically to change when the movie took place to line up with release order to make things simpler. Such a bad call. >. >

the movie also sets things up nicely for the World War III storyline where black-bag agencies like Amanda Waller and various villains undermine his regie and kill his loved ones. so Adam declares war on EVERYONE. first literally killing every man woman and child of the country that hosted the group that killed his family, then literally going form nation to nation wrecking the place. And HE doesn't have certain disadvanteges or lack of experiience like Zod did. He doe sof course lose, eventually, but still. it would make for a good movie. and would represent a great potential story arc where Waller finally goes too far, and reaps the whirlwind.

They played that movie last night at a theater right here in the same part of town where most of the scenes for Black Adam and Shazam 2 were filmed. I thought that was interesting. I was in the theater watching a different movie when the crowds began arriving. I wanted to stay and try to get into the screening, but I already have Real 3D 4DX tickets for next week, and I want that to be my first experience.

I m looking forward to Black Adam more than most MCU entries right now. MCU has lost my viewership due to the fact you need to have Disney+ as a companion to understand some things going on in the movies. Also, DC isn t afraid to dumb down to a PG-13 when some movies need to have an R rating to do the source material justice. Yes, I m worried about you, Blade.

Marvel has consistently dropped the ball since End Game, and they've become a laughable parody of themselves, thanks to Disney. (They started the slide even before End Game, but there was still some juice left in the franchise for a great finish)

One thing that i appreciate is that dwayne johnaon actually seems like he cares about his role as black adam and that the fans get what they want. He said that even 5/7 years ago he was pushing for superman to have an interaction with black adam because he knew that fans would want to see it: im exited for this movie

If this is even half decent, I hope it performs well at the box office. I'm as much a fan of Marvel comics as I am of DC. So I want both sets of characters to have great films and do well at the box office. With Disney mucking up their characters at this point in time, I'm really hoping DC can capitalise on that.

This is why I say the rock should take over the DC titles with his production company seven bucks. He knows how to promote and he really listens to the fans but overall it s his way or the highway. Especially with his character that he was so passionate about. He keeps it true to its roots!

I m now hyped for DCEU. After 2018 s MCEU climax an the defeat of Thanos, loss of Iron Man and departure of Cap it just hasn t been the same for me. I m looking forward to witnessing the growth/rebirth of DCEU and hopefully an eventual confrontation between the JL, JLA and Darkseid

If anything, when we think of blade we remember Mr W. Snipes, when Aquaman is mentioned, we think of Mr Jason M. - Iron man: Mr Robert D. jr. Which are the closest you can call a perfect casting. Here, from now on, when we think of black Adam we will remember Mr D. the rock Johnson.

Good thing The rock is ethnic. otherwise the critics would have been like yawn. another hero flick. Wokeness is just trash. This, movie should be good. if the company actually opened a comic book and followed it. I mean it's 80% pictures how can u F that up?

The most common critic im seeing is the story is kinda weak and the villain is weak. But the rest is all fun. I dont expect this movie to be like The Dark Knight. I just want to have a good time and see Overpowered shit happening lol

Okay dc fan boys, girls, thems, it s, whatever you identify as. A few good DC movies doesn t equate to Marvels good dozens of movies. I have been a Superman fan since I was kid and Marvel Studios is just better than Dc stuff.
