I thought the film was good, from the death at the beginning I knew it wouldn't be like the rest. I actually liked the fact they did something different. I really wanted Cory to become another Michael and have the ending be a 2v2. My biggest complaint is the ending. When Michael shows up and snaps Cory's neck I'd assumed he'd be getting back up again to help Michael fight Lorrie after gaining the same supernatural abilities. It just felt like all of the Cory setup was for nothing and that they remembered in the last 30 minutes that Michael needed to die. Also the fact that Michael was weak af even though he won in the last film and had been seen killing people to regain his strength. The ending just felt disappointing, imagine bleeding Michael Myers to death and then having enough time to take him all the way to a grinder without him coming back for at least one final scare or Lorrie grab. Also imagine setting someone up as the next Michael for an entire film only to abandon that in the last half hour.

halloween 2018 was good on its own. when they said they were doing a trilogy that diminished the rest of the films following the 2018 one. everything didn't matter going into kills cause we're getting a third movie after kills. they should have kept the 2018 version as a stand-alone and not tried to milk it. honestly would love to see a new wave of horror slasher villains take up the mantle instead of these nostalgia-bait films that make the OG films oscar film in comparison.

The question is what does the new guy bring to the table Michel had Wolverine healing powers so what can the nerd do with the power transfer? Also even though it was the final showdown Michel should have made the town realize he isn t dead until he takes Lorie with him or time gets him yeah it was good to see the callbacks to the first movies but he should have gotten a little more screen time to make things come full circle.

The was absolutely no reason for Corey to be involved if they were just going to kill him off anyway, this was definitely an underwhelming final chapter to say the least and the final bout was very disappointing. This was the Halloween to end all Halloweens and they butchered it (pun unintended) although I must say, Corey did make a very good copycat killer as oppose to other in the horror franchise

A Michael Myers movie with barely any Michael Myers. Turns some kid into a great value Michael for no reason at all and it doesn t even have a good payoff. The final fight in the first movie was way better than the trash at the end of this. The only good part about this movie was seeing Michael put into that grinder so we know we won t get another movie

I loved it. And any true fan of the original nose that the third Halloween had nothing to do with Michael Myers and they introduced a new killer. This third edition to the saga is in a similar vein. introduces a new, compelling passionate murderer and gives us finality with Lauri as the endgirl as she should be

Sidelined Michael for a new character and nerfed him so much in the final film. We were following a fanfiction relationship. Also they don t even have a Lindsey not even on the frontlines doing nothing she s also a final girl. Allison character is ruined she s a brat and the final battle was brief and short.

I feel like the movie was changed at some point and Cory just went on a killing spree instead of something meaningful. I mean, it was interesting how Michael seemed to have some type of influence) Over Cory and made him turn to the dark side, but then it hyped him up just to end his story like THAT.

Jamie Lee Curtis is a great actress. just like her mother and her father. was an actor. it was in her blood to be an actress. and the one movie I really loved was Forever Young. with Mel Gibson. maybe we'll see Jamie Lee Curtis and other movies if not Bob Hope famous words. Thanks for the Memories.

I really enjoyed it and hated the other 2. I thought it dealt neatly with generational trauma. And Laurie seemed closer to what I believe Laurie 78 would have became. Corey was a cool study in how ostracism and alienation can metastasize into cruelty and evil

Carpenter only intended for Michael Myers to be in the first Halloween.
There was never supposed to be a long drawn out storyline or franchise. So people complaining are complaining about something that had no foundation.

The movie made zero sense. Even if you re ok with the theme they tried to go with, they didn t even stay true to it. It was all over the place. It was a bad movie and anyone arguing that is just being a contrarian
