The movie was difficult to follow and introduced too many largely unknown characters to most, apart from true DC fans. In contrast, the Marvel universe has introduced its main characters through origin story films. This movie, like the Eternals, introduced a complex and unfamiliar universe with too many characters, leaving me confused and overwhelmed by the magical and strange elements beyond what I knew from Superman and Batman. Even Aquaman and Flash were more recognizable and easier to understand than this movie. If the movie had been more about Black Adam and his backstory it would haven been much better and a reason to care.

It wasn't a flop at all it didn't get released in China that destroys just about every big budget super hero movie that takes about half of what it would have made world wide

People might just be tired of The Rock. I'm not sure what else it could be. The Rock has his hands in every avenue & folks may just desire to see him fail one way or another.

I hate the fact that they are making all superheroes into comedians nowadays. I miss old days with Blade, Hulk, Superman and Batman. Back when it was serious.
