if you're gonna watch it like a pretentious cinephile, picking apart character development, pacing, overall themes etc. you're not gonna have a good time. Smoke a bowl beforehand, turn off your brain and enjoy the ride because I had an absolute blast with this movie. It's crucial you experience it in a packed theater. Walking out of my theater, the vibe was everyone enjoyed what they just saw.
Cocaine Bear is a 7. 8/10 in a theater. Probably a 6. 3/10 if watched by yourself. I can't stress this enough, everything in this movie, all the wild shit that happens, the fact that it's called Cocaine Bear, all of it done with theater crowds experiencing it together in mind.
